maybe u couldn't flash it? or maybe it is another board. its adviced to reset cmos settings after a flash but i doubt that's the reason. edit: yea the problem is simple u have downloaded the wrong file http://usa.asus.com/support/download/item....7N8X-E%20Deluxe there is no 1010 for that board

well if u deleted the worm manually from winlogon.exe btw winlogon.exe is a windows file, it should be under here C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe if u find it else where its junk but if u deleted the one thats in there (which i doubt u can erase, it won't allow u and even if u delete it u will get errors..) so get a anti-virus program & spyware program, update their definitions and scan. also immunize your system so that u don't get junk stuff again..

that i believe is bc of style xp. though uninstall doesn't work. u have to uncheck every visual option. apply it. then recheck all of them to get them back at least this is what i did after uninstalling style xp...

if u used the custom install wizard u probably entered the key in there so just edit the .ops file

using SystemRestore=off just makes the system restore off which means, the hdd space reserved is set to 0. by removing the inf entries it doesn't even get installed, u don't see the system restore tab... I dunno i like it this way...

DoS attack came from 203.122.28.104 to DX9NT OPK.exe over 2,053 connections... the school really didn't like this many connections issue has not been solved yet, pending for security analyst... they've told me "Microsoft also frowns upon repackaging their software" is this true? though i haven't repacked any ms software... get virtualdub mod, it should be able to open asf files and u will be able to save the correct portions...

(run once) with start wait. after this completes and changes all the paths and parses [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion] "ProgramFilesDir"="d:\\Program Files" "CommonFilesDir"="d:\\Program Files\\Common" u shall have your new programs installed to d drive... good luck

yes u can pretty much do it the way u want it but it takes more time to go through all of the hotfixes 1 by 1 and its not easy, on the way of doing it, u'll probably have to test it billions of times to see if u missed something. so yes put the files manually to the i386 folder update txtsetup.sif dosnet.inf, if putting drivers update driver's inf (i cannot recall the name) and put the registry entries into hive*.inf's i had started some of them but as i said it takes frigging long time... and if u could hold on for a while rtm of sp2 will be released soon..

go to hklm\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run and manually add that program... this type of thing can be a spyware etc.. scan & remove..
