thanks great software since i started it now i need more functionality i couldn't figure out how to edit vob's or mpv mp2's etc. do u edit them with this or do u use alternative programs to edit? Thanks

well that's really old news. i dled it in jan or something... also 1 thing about that release is its xp compatible..

I've to say I most often use opera 7.23. but its horrible when it comes to javascript handling. most of the scripts are written for ie so i don't see the scripts correctly. I didn't try 7.5 that much i dunno. myie2 it was too crowded. netscape = I hate it! I hate anything that look like netscape. what I like about opera I usually open up billions of windows from links therefor i want them to be opened at the background. opera simple does this by clicking while holding down ctrl+shift also I like to have 1 program and everything under that program. which i mean when u open opera all the browsing, all the windows are in the program. 1 problem I couldn't handle is since i open up too many windows it sometimes crashes. same goes for ie but I open ie at "different memory space" so if 1 closes the other doesn't. I love flashget and use the opera plugin for it. any other good browser that does what I want?

Hi there I do editing dvd's making menu's and stuff like that it takes ages to do those things. especially when it gives an error quite often now i'm looking for good stable programs to alter dvd's and create menu's etc. i used to do video editing with ulead media studio pro. now its a good program, probably did more that what i wanted it to do. took years to process a movie. then I found about virtual dub same process done in a minute no crashes.. i'm looking for an alternative like that. simple & effective. i want the software to have a fast mechanhism to crop out, strip out stuff, link menu's with chapters, titles etc.. no fancy stuff... Thanks!!

hi there I'm trying to figure out how to do this: I've lots of folders that i want to copy to dvd's. is there a program that would take those folder's sizes' and find the best match to fit into dvd's? if there is nothing like that how'd one go about doing such a thing? better explanation I've folders like folder 1: 1.5gb folder 2: 3.1gb folder 3: 800mb etc... now i cannot put folder 1 & 2 into the same dvd obviously bc it exceeds 4.488mb so another folder must be replaced with it. hope u get the picture TIA this would solve many problems that I have pls pls help how would the logical setup of this program would look like? I cannot think straight right now thus couldn't picture how i'd set this thing up in my mind Thanks!!!

i haven't said anything about posting instructions or making your own. of course u could, its not like I have the market on winamp msi or anything. everyone's free to post anything on this forum. i had only protested the way u talked to me. Its not up to me what u do or what u don't do in your free time. so go ahead post instructions, post the msi, so we can all benefit.

well just run it from the cd u have it as solitaire.ex_ i believe, on the cd just put the extracted version of it..

look at your dosnet.inf for the locations of those files and check your cd if u have those directories and files..

first of all 3 whistler? 1st one seems like win2000? 2nd what would your point be in posting such a thing? all the beta testers have/had all the builds. now they throw it in the bin and use the recent ones!!

well I tried 1 thing in the setup to play my mp3's on winamp on t-god knows I installed it with movie maker's inf.

no no u don't really have to overclock what ppl don't think about well at least from what u have provided is the speed of the hdd, and how fragmented it is. defrag your hdd and what is the rotational speed? 5400? too low 7200 fine 10000. sata + raptor gOOd! I've a similar setup as yours same cpu, same mb, same ram (kingston) geforce 4 440 64mb not the best one.. I'd say 1st thing is bc of your graphics card 2nd fragmentation on the hdd. and 3rd would be amount of ram. that jumping is caused by these 3 problems also u might want to check your cpu or/and mb temp...

It just takes time and making 1 only for yourself would take about 10 min. install the real nullsoft winamp. monitor the registry changes. copy the files over to the msi builder. copy your winamp folder along with everything inside, with the .ini as well. and that's it. that's what I use for myself. Competition? how so. on the left side u have 2 ppl trying to make an universal installer for winamp on the right side ppl trying to make an installer for themselves it really takes like 5 min if u only want to install winamp with min (or only your) requirements.

167F? god knows what happens in there does your computer get direct sun light or something? how's it possible to go that high? is it the mb? if so throw it out of the window or its the ati? what the heck? shutdown your comp b4 something else happens whats the interior cpu voltage? maybe u set it too high?

Hi there, sorry for all this mess. I get a little angry sometime when ..., whatever. anyways I'm not going to continue the project. Alanoll was kind enough to offer me help and he said he could take over the project. I really appiciate that and I'm willing to add 1 more task to Alanoll's to do list @Mazin, I couldn't figure u out yet, but one way or another I don't like flaming and having problems with anyone. U said u were joking. I take your word on that. Sorry for the consequences. Maybe I'm too tense.... I'm reverting the 1st post to its original, dl link will be back up, but I'm not going to fiddle around with the project anymore, any further updates will be coming from Alanoll. I used to check out the forum billion times a day. now its summer and I've a girlfriend to take care of I won't be checking out the forums that much anymore (who cares) I believe any problem with the current msi can be posted here and I'm sure Alanoll with take care of them. I'd encourage him to start the msi from scratch. Every tiny modification in the msi ends up in a little un-undoable mess unless u have another recent copy. Good Luck & Have Fun.

I'm begging u to continue the project if u think u can do better. ?yea who do u think u are? Do u think I give a **** about u? (no i've stopped doing further enhancements cause i don't have time, and this is what happens) There u have it, a chance for u to start everything from the beginning..
