well i'd buy a nice one that supports at least 1024*768 then if the users are having problems reading things u can set the size of icons/names/this/that to bigger. user large icons and so. less blurry. and blurry? how so enable clear type and try.. and that 1703fp seems awesome i'm using ultra sharp on dell laptop. nothing is blurry!!! go with that monitor then and why don't u send me one hey and it also supports 75hz so its a good thing I'm stuck at 60 i'd buy it ( I'd buy samsung but thats another story )

it might also be bc of the bios. there is an option in the bios for enabling "check boot sector" for virus thing if u cannot get rid of the virus I think disabling that will work...

installshield just came up with another version called installshield X (which is version 10) they've trial versions on their website (400+mb)

that file is avaliable like hu1002_per.exe or something similar. I'm away from my external hdd now can't look it up but i'm sure there is one, i have installed it b4.! most of the recommended updates are for pro versions for some reason. home has less ... anyways wu should be able to help u just create a xp sp1 cd without any hotfix. put it on vmware or vpc go to wu and check which files are neccessary. and if u like this idea u can even create a topic and keep it up to date

i don't think anyone could possibly explain u the steps of it in a forum but if u want a start, u need to design a chip layout first deciding what its going to do. then create the chip, mount it on a board. well after that u may design the casing for it. I think this simple question of yours is kind of hard to manage, I mean the big hardware companies do it with 100ths of ppl. if u want to do it by yourself i think first of all u need to do more reading and become aware that u cannot do everything that pops in your head. frame = easy grab a plastic give it a shape, or wood, sand it or something on/off switch go grab 3 cables and a switch, solved. screen heh i don't think u can do it by hand hahahahah go find yourself a java programer and start learning the language go buy a cell phone that has java games, and start building one yourself and see u in 10 years....

heh i think u're confusing the power cable with the ide cable ide cable cannot go to the hdd and the floppy at the same time there is a smaller pin cable for floppy where as the new hdd's use 80 and cdrom's use 40pin. its not likely that u're going to hook an ide cable to the floppy grab the cable coming from the power supply (should be in red/yellow/black) plug it to the dvd-rom, that would be the power cable then plug the ide cable (usually grey) to the dvdrom. the usually have pins so that u don't plug it upside down. if it doesn't have it place it so that the pink side of that cable is on the right side... hope that helps..... u cannot plug the power cord wrong unless u try very very hard. so try flipping the ide cable that goes to the dvd-rom..

go to display properties under screen saver "on resume ask for password" uncheck that.. u'r good 2 go..

wow a driver causes this type of error??? that's f'ed up! nvidia has been tweaking a lot of stuff in that driver!! grrrr I once was a fan, I hope the new 6800 works out for them. I'm waiting for the pci xpress's
