why don't u use taskill, i didn't undertstand... also u could try pskill from sysinternals.com and why are u deleting them? instead don't even install it

well trace by ip gives the rest goes with req timed outi'm on 56k btw but i'd at least get something in those .... I dunno what it'd be maybe the domain name on dns servers have not been registered properly? my domain works mine's running on flames

u can also try to learn some vbscripting seriously its easy, well at least the bit u need to install it is easy.

lol @dtmunir well again a small chance but if u're copying like 1000files/folders total at 700mb creating them takes little more time than just copying a file that's 700mb. also if u've partitioned your hdd and moving from 1 part to the other that also slows things down. other than these maybe it depends on the brand of the hdd, brand of the mb,

signs of lots of virus and lots of spyware ok first go to the msconfig, if u can't go there go to regedit in msconfig just for this problem uncheck everything on "start-up" tab (i'd tell u which one's to close but thats a lot of work) restart the computer.. then i hope u have a anti-virus software, update it and run it. then get spyware tools, billions of them.. 1 is not enough! seriously, 1 finds 1 thing other doesn't.... let it wipe every virus and spyware.. then u should be good to go after that...

well not really what u're looking for but I believe fragmentation could cause that... yes it uses intel chipset, as a matter of fact my friend just bought the same mb today i865 chipset I believe. hdd should be on the 80 pin one its grey colored if u're using the cables that came with the mb. 40 pins go for the cdroms. hmm serial ata exist on that board so why don't u use the sata interface instead of the ide??? (well obvious reason u might not have sata hdd but i'd think if u bought a mb with sata u should buy a hdd with sata support )

u could try alienware its got 256mb vid ram expensive though i think centrino is a good choice, if u can find try to find at least a 128vid mem. i've 64mb geforce 4 go on my dell laptop. its seriously not enough. I decrease the resolution play at lowest details on most recent games. my internet doesn't lag but my computer lags which is a BIG problem for me! and for god sake pls don't buy hp or compaq laptop if u're going to buy something buy dell toshiba alienware etc. why? i've plenty of friends that bought compaq and dell without asking anyone, just looked at the price and "oh well this suits my needs" but no its got overheating problems and many other problems my friends currently experiencing. they've already taken another step at buying something else... ow also sony, my friend's ram slot was broken he had dual 256, 1 day he complained about his computer being so slow, I went over to check what the hecks wrong, well it wasn't showing up 512mb anymore basically his ram slot blew up or something. those are my brief experiences I've dell inspiron 8200 I bought it on sept 2002, when the laptop market was not like this, by that I mean not so much demand on gaming on laptops were popular as today, so yes I paid too much for it. but haven't got any, seriously any problems with it! (hope nothing happens to it after I say this ) anyways get 2-3 year warranty if u're going to buy anything else yes its a thick laptop but does its job. i looked at the new gaming pc's of dell's I dunno what to say about them except that THEY ARE THICK! u can buy a micro computer, those new small box'ed computers with a lcd monitor... if that'd suit u. or get a tablet pc if u're taking notes or something.. MS one note works great with tablet pc's !!

u can also have a zip or rar actually an executable archive and have it extract its contents...

hello yes its possible to copy the contents of the cd's to the dvd that's a very easy step. usually there are files like layout.bin they contain the info about the files. most often when its an installshield installer they will have data1.cab data2.cab etc. they can be put on the same dvd without a problem, others should work too! here's the problem COPY PROTECTION. now u will be able to install the game from the dvd u just created but will not be able to play it! it will keep asking for the cd....

well i think u're asking the wrong question.... there are 3 types of p4 these days 1 with 512k l2 cache 1 with 1mb l2 cache 1 with 2.5mb l2 cache. other than that they're all the same so they're all good. not much of a difference in them. amd athlons are little different...

you could do that wiht normal PCI card's age's ago rich people used to buy 2x voodoo card's and link them with an sli cable. so its not really something new and innovative just something that has not been possible while GFX card's have been using AGP slot's of which mobo's only have one yes I know but as u might also know the pci cards are very slow. therefore since the agp came out i don't think anyone has been using the combine the two graphics card method. Therefore I just mentioned that it will once again be avaliable.! as for the $499 cards. my max budget for a graphics card will me $200. $500 I could buy billions of other things

agreed with TechZ those new cards have already beaten the other ones btw alienware is coming up with dual channel video pci-x thingy heh what an explanation, they're going to use 2 pci-x slots for graphics, both graphics card will be the same and be working at the same time!!! with intel mb. I'd go with p4 3.4 Xtreme Edition but thats me 2.5mb cache!!! 1-2gb ram
