  1. I assume you're talking about the title bar in Internet Explorer and you want the time to show up. This site looks like it has code that gets the users local time. Dynamic Title Bar Date-Time Clock Display If that's not what you want, post back and I'll go searching again
  2. As far as I know, the process is the same.
  3. The file system does work, but hogs resources. You can see it in action by dropping files into the Storage folder, and watch WinFS sort them. Quoted from Chris123NT's 4051 Tweak Guide. I'd say go ahead and install it, it's very interesting to play around with.
  4. That's a nice ISO! Where did you find that? Or if you made it, how did you know which files you needed?
  5. Sounds like a display driver issue. I recommend updating the drivers of your graphics card.
  6. Cygwin I don't know if that'll work, but it seems like it would. I've used it to run KDE on Windows.
  7. Hello! It looks like you may be infested with Spyware also known as Adware. There is no need to panic, as several easy-to-use tools exist to aid you in removing the spyware. What is spyware, you may ask? Spyware or Adware commonly tracks your browsing patterns and sends data back to advertisers. It is a security and privacy risk, and should be dealt with immediately. To remedy this problem, you have the choice of 2 programs to download. 1. Lavasoft Ad-aware (Download here) The leader in spyware removal. Once downloaded and installed, it is recommended to update the built-in spyware scanner by selecting "Update" on the main screen. 2. Spybot-S&D (Download here) Said to clean your computer more thoroughly, it is best to run Ad-aware first and then run Spybot afterwards to remove anything Ad-aware didn't pick up. Pertaining to your specific problem: I have hex edited the attachment you made (which I assume should have a .dll extension) and have found no reference to anything worthwhile. It appears it is either self-replicating, or called by an external program. I recommend an in-depth spyware scan. If you have any more problems or would like to add to your problem description, please, don't hesistate to post! Thank you for choosing MSFN.
  8. I'll go sign up for it and see how good it is for remotely hosting pics. Edit: What? Seems like its just some guy with some extra bandwidth who wants to monitor people's sites. Oh well. I'll see what happens.
  9. What? How can a host NOT be compatable with frames? And the dead link when I click "Terms" doesn't make me feel good. The lost Terms page:
  10. There were 2 internet café's in my area. Both flopped big time. They just had a horrible set up, bad location, not enough computers, and a creepy owner. Hey, maybe I should start my own!
  11. No actual job, but just today I started talking with some guy and I'm going to design his site for him. I'm looking for a real job
  12. Reboot the Virtual machine once you Capture the Virtual drive. When you mount the image as virtual DVD drive F, you must then capture that virtual drive as I explained above. THEN let the virtual machine reboot and allow it to read the DVD and install Windows. Uh, also check in the virtual machines BIOS to see if the first boot device is the CD/DVD or the hard drive. You want it to boot from the CD/DVD first.
  13. I bet swapping files between versions would probably decrease stability, not increase it
  14. In other words, HyDeNCiTy, you sig is too big It can be 500 wide, not tall
  15. From the same page, let us know what happens.
  16. I should have added, "XtremeMaC need not reply, we can tell by his post count that he's a complete MSFN Nut" Just kidding man
  17. Maybe you can code your own AveDesk or ObjectDesktop applet... I have no idea how much work that'd be, but it's worth looking in to.
  18. Welcome to MSFN, okih-imus! Holy crap, you pretty much described my situation too, minus the Java part We're even the same age and have non-thinkers in our classes! Wow...
  19. I don't know about the rest of you, but I actually think about MSFN when I'm not in front of the comptuer. Am I crazy? Do others think about what could be going on in a certain forum or wonder about the replies they'll get to a post they made? Tell me I'm not crazy. It's not like I do it all the time, just it slips into my thoughts.
  20. There's 2 ways: 1. Host the pic on your own webspace and : A ) Make a link to it with the [ URL ] [ /URL ] tag B ) Use the [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tag to make it show in the post 2. If the forum allows it, attach the image to the post with like this:
