  1. That looks real similar to souluna.
  2. Good work, ZoRoNaX! Looks like some cool stuff.
  3. Obtain a bootable cd like one made with BartPE or the Super WinPE CD. Even knoppix will work. I suggest manually replacing the uxtheme.dll file (in system32 directory). If you used a patching program, it should have made a backup and named it uxtheme.bak or something. Just replace that file and hopefully things will be back to normal. Alternatively, you can try to run the original patching program off of a PE cd you create, and use the built in restore function. Only do that if you are uncomfortable with working with system files. Good luck!
  4. Holy crap I need this. I don't think I can stand another blocked download for "security reasons". Nice find!
  5. Asking for files from Longhorn is against the rules, so I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. Whether its the whole thing or just a part of software, it is still considered warez.
  6. That's an awesome one, Shun Di! Good job!
  7. Some of the best free shopping carts are made in PHP. Do you have a language preference? I'll just post different ones. JspCart (Java) AgoraCart (CGI) Comersus (ASP) More links @ hotscripts.com
  8. Do you have a firewall enabled or is your connection routed through a router? If so, make sure you open Port 3389 as that is the port used. However, if you are using the Windows Messenger version of it, the ports are dynamic and shouldn't conflict. In that case, refer to what magicfly said and make sure both of you have the latest version of MSN Messenger. I would recommend doing Remote Assistance through the Help and Support Center. More information can be found here.
  9. To my knowledge, nothing like this exists. I researched the subject and nothing came up. Sorry
  10. Can't say "Welcome to MSFN" because you've been here for a long while, so instead I'll say: Welcome to the "I post at MSFN" club! Enjoy your stay!
  11. They're just normal forums in their own /forums directory. As far as the css, I doubt I even touched it. The only style changes I made were removing a bunch of elements. For example, these are the kind of things I removed. I didn't touch any of the code "on my own" so to speak.
  12. @Raduking I used Dreamweaver MX 2004 to make it, so whatever that follows is what it is. However, I am talking only about the forums page. Everything else works fine now. I obviously didn't code the forums. Sorry about 2 posts in a row, I didn't even see Radukings post.
  13. Ok, it works better on Opera than it does on Firefox, but it still doesn't work that great (tables messed up). It's probably something I did to mess it up, because the official forums work fine on all three browsers. I just don't know what I did other than the style modifications. I don't even use Firefox or Opera, btw. Since my service is focused towards people who aren't that good with computers, I guess they won't even know what Firefox/Opera is
  14. It's not free, it's a trial, and that was made quite clear in this thread.
  15. Crap. My website looks and works fine in IE6, but as soon as I open it up in Firefox the thing falls apart. First off, some of the tables get misaligned. Not a big problem, I'll just delete some text to remove the whitespace. The biggest problem is that my Invision forums totally don't show up in Firefox. All I see is the header and the copyright. I remember running into this problem once back when I was making the site and removing a bunch of crap from the forum, but now it's only happening with Firefox. Any ideas? (BTW, no, I can't give you a link to the site. Long story short, its a community tech support site that I don't want advertised outside of my city.)
  16. Hello FireKosh! Welcome to MSFN! Enjoy your stay.
  17. I don't understand the whole WMP-Monopoly thing either. It was unfair to blame Microsoft in my view.
  18. First I was going to comment about how you can't compare vB 3.0 to IPB 1.3, because of the obvious gap between releases. Then I realized, 1.3 still kicks the crap out of vB even with their release of 3.0. Come the release of IPB 2.0, I think it'd be a good time for a head to head review. I've got 2.0 installed on localhost and I love it. Oh, and IPB is not free. Go check out the huge 10 something page discussion on it at the official forums. Gims0 knows what I'm talking about
  19. Yeah, WinISO is fine for small things, but it can't seem to handle large (3+ GB) ISO's at all. It just crashes on me. CDImage is the way to go, but make sure to get the version that doesn't have Microsoft's address burned into it. (For those of you who don't know, cdimage has Microsoft's address and contact info embedded in it. I have no idea what its for, but I've heard it gets burned into every cd you make with it... whether or not that's a security risk is beyond me.)
  20. So much easier than manually making ASCII words. Heh, its a good way to pass the time if you're bored.
