The second key breaks the icons in device manager. Remove it and all will be fine. Enjoy -
Maximus-Decim Native USB Drivers
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to maximus-decim's topic in Windows 9x Member Projects
Yes, and let me get one thing clear. Maximus-Decim was the original finder of that key. His package had displayed the broken icons and we fixed it. I would never take credit for someone else work. Thanks goes to him, LoneCrusader, drugwash. I can update the original NUSB 3.5, adding only the SYSDM.CPL from LoneCrusader and the registry fixed to automate the task. If you interested, let me know if not you can do it manually and all will be fine. -
Maximus-Decim Native USB Drivers

As far as I know, there are No bugs with SYSDM.CPL 4.90.0.3002, LoneCrusader fixed it to display Windows 98 instead of Windows Me, I and drugwash fixed the icon issue. The NUSB 3.6 was never updated with the file from LoneCrusader and the registry fix from me. The SP covers it all or one can manually do it. -

Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 driver for Windows98 (Continuation)
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to LightAlpha263's topic in Windows 9x/ME
Sorry, it's not going to happen. Me and many others have tried. The only way it might be possible, is to add the missing functions from the .SYS files to Win98. -
I have a direct connection from the router to the XBOX 360 for streaming. Because the router/modem Cisco DCP3825 needs the cable line for my internet to work. This is all hooked up to the TV, so I need a wireless solution. I can login to the WinXP computer through VPN and Remote Desktop from the tablet, but I can't print.

VM is the way to go, having just a wireless driver won't cut it.

A bottle of cognac and sacrificing my weekends. It's very time consuming, and afterwards you have to test to make sure everything works.

I can get the wireless working.

Is there any way to enter standby mode from a batch file?
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to CamTron's topic in Windows 9x/ME
I could test it, what version is it? -
When using the Dosbox method, you are stuck using 32mb of ram. There is no way to adjust it. This method is not ideal.

Along with tens of thousand others without problems. www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/unofficial_windows98_se_service_pack.html Thousands from the official download and Thousands more from various other sites. It's safe to say it been primetime for a while. You can't find 50 or more people (out of the Thousands) that's having issues and if you do, I'll fix the problems pronto. Comprende!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more. There's nothing like running the real hardwareIt will eventually come to that. No one is running Win98 on the latest specs, with all drivers installed and no issues. It's probably not going to happen. It's ok to be optimistic, but reality trumps it.

The popup dialog is in the original Win98 SE shell32.dll as well. I have tested both original and patched shell32 from sp.

It works with any file except shortcuts. Right-Click your hard drive, Send to, Desktop (create shortcut) the dialog will popup. Patch it and no more popups. I have tried most file types and they all seem to work.

I was pointing out that Aurora was nice, I tested it in the past. Don't use it, self explanatory. To have a few options is what I was aiming @. rn10950 was talking possibly upgrading a firefox version, thought the link would help.
