Well I use All Windows 98SE updates Unofficial/Official MDGx's HOSTS file Domain Blocklist Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.5 32-bit I used to have Mcafee but i don't have my disk no more all i need now is a up to date Virus scanner because i extract my files then scan them before i install them. I'm thinking of NOD32 or Mcafee i'll just have to buy another disk. And this should secure your computer well atleast it does mines

I had to take me ethernet card out of my WinXP machine and place it in my Win98SE machine just to connect online. Now the ethernet card in my Win98SE machine works fine even before the replacement. I think its comcast stamping the card you connect with.they are killing support for Win98SE too. so the solution is when i want to connect with Win98SE i have to swap my Cnet ethernet card with my net gear.

I just did a clean install on my Win98SE machine and now i can't connect to the internet I'm using comcast with a modem all my setting are the same as before the re-install also it works fine on my WinXp machine.Something was mentioned about me having to set the DHCP in Win98SE

Why not just use the INf file from the official update to install the unoffical files?

Thanks for the original NotePad.exe fix but i have a small ? Can Notepad.exe be automated to open in full screen with the MAXIMIZE NOTEPAD tweak from MDGx site? If so can it be added.

The HWINFO.EXE from SCANFRAG.EXE installs in C:Windows\System and the one from 98SE2ME installs C:\Windows

I only have a minor problem when i try to launch Nero Burning Rom it launches Nero Express, other than that everything is great.I would like to use Nero Burning Rom if possible but if not, i won't stress you.Thank U again
