  1. Care to share the filters? You can export the settings in the dashboard.
  2. Primetime CDM does not work with New Moon. The contents of gmp-eme-adobe folder are deleted. I don't know why.
  3. Put your router in WPA2 only and see if Windows XP connect.
  4. That's what Bill Gates did and look what happened. Windows hasn't been the same.
  5. BSD or Windows XP/7 for me if this happen. I already dual-boot Slackware and Windows XP.
  6. I had the same issue and the only way for Windows XP to connect, is to set the router in WPA + WPA2 mode. It will not connect when router is set to WPA2 only. I know this for a fact "at least" on my set up, because I tried multiple combinations. This worked for me, hopefully you as well. Nonetheless, WinXP still shows being connected to WPA2. Not sure whats that about.
  7. To some extent... I'm not going to keep buying old hardware just to support WinXP. Right now, I'm not worried but one day I will have to move on. Win9x scene has been very quiet lately. You only have a few working on things which is not enough to hold on.
  8. I'm dual-booting Windows XP Pro /w SP4 integrated /w all POSReady updates /w Slackware Linux 14.2 32bit on a Compaq Presario C700. Everything is running smooth with the Ext2Fsd driver accessing my Linux partition. I'll just keep buying older/supported hardware which is probably the best solution. I did it for Windows 98 SE. After that runs dry, we are going to have to start mastering VMs. I do have an Inspiron 15 3521 AMD sitting in the closet right now. For starters I don't like AMD, secondly I hate I can't run WinXP on it.
  9. I never use Tor to login. Just surf the web and nothing more. After being a victim of identity theft, I move very carefully on the net. No social media accounts, use prepaid phones when email accounts wants verification, all email accounts under pseudonym, no banking... Nothing on the net besides my ip address has my government name is why I use tor. My ISP changes my address every couple of months. All the extra software like malware, virus scanners etc.. didn't prevent anything. It gives people a false sense of security, (like myself in the past). I have been Malware and virus free for some time now without the extra bloat. A good firewall and common sense is all one needs. I also dual- boot Linux. P.S. Lycos mail has locked me out of my account unless I pay a subscription fee. All is lost but I'm ok with that.
  10. I use uBlock Origin & NoScript. I ditched HTTPs Everywhere and use NoScript for that as well. Pretty safe and private browsing. Configured Pale Moon with the tor settings for extra security. I use the autoproxy plugin too because I use Tor and I2P. Don't need a virus scanner and haven't used one in years.
  11. I can confirm heinoganda KB4134651-v2 fixes the Windows Live Mail bug I was experiencing. Thank you soooooo much!!!! When I replaced the file, I was presented with these updates. I installed them and replaced only oleaut32.dll from heinoganda KB4134651-v2. All is fine and thank you guys very much. 2018-07 Security Update for WES09 and POSReady 2009 for x86-based Systems (KB4134651) 2018-05 Security Update for WES09 and POSReady 2009 for x86-based Systems (KB4134651) 2018-02 Security Update for Windows XP Embedded SP3 for x86-based Systems (KB4074852) Security Update for WES09 and POSReady 2009 (KB3196718) Security Update for POSReady 2009 and WES09 (KB3184122) Security Update for WEPOS and POSReady 2009 (KB3139940) Security Update for WES09 and POSReady 2009 (KB4018556)
  12. Just did a clean install with SP4 slipstreamed. Install Windows Live Mail and it was working. No errors. After updating 80 posready updates it broke. Now I have to find which update broke WLM. I'm leaning towards .NET updates.
  13. After un-installing and re-installing, I get this error message as well
  14. Thanks, I have tried the solutions and didn't work for me. The exact error message is I am using SP4 if that makes any difference.
  15. Are these updates obsolete? WINDOWSXP-KB4019276-X86-EMBEDDED-ENU_3822FC1692076429A7DC051B00213D5E1240CE3D.EXE WINDOWSXP-KB4025398-X86-EMBEDDED-ENU_B411279FB7DCDE2856026476B626F2F12B518A9D.EXE WINDOWSXP-KB4039111-X86-EMBEDDED-ENU_9B517BB7A6B7459D5C4C7159E4B8F247CF094FEB.EXE
  16. I've installed the update and Windows Live Mail still gives me the error. Thanks, at least the Find target is fixed.
  17. I'm using WinXP SP4 /w POS updates. I switched from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail but can't get pass the error
  18. This might be helpful https://blog.dhampir.no/content/installing-windows-live-essentials-on-windows-xp-error-oncatalogresult-0x80190194
  19. I'm using Tor and I2P side-by-side and they both get the job done. I use Pale Moon with (Tor) instead of the (TOR Browser) and so far no issues. Interesting combination.
  20. I'm not sure whats going on, but I did a clean install the other day using SP4 3.1b. I only got about 6 updates. On my older installation with SP4 3.1a, I got a ton of them including Office 2003 updates. What is going on and am I missing something?
  21. I'm tempted to download to see if any goodies in there. I need some motivation. Its 10 Gigs. Whooo !!!!!!! https://archive.org/details/WULOS
