  1. Honestly, spring a couple bucks and get a host that supports it already and isn't free. Try www.emaxhosting.com They have a package that starts at $3.95 a month. You will regret anything you get "free."
  2. OK, so I figured out that Opera does that... I just don't think I like Opera much. But, next question, since Opera does this, is there any way to create a shortcut that will open the browser automatically with both pages?

  4. OK... I finally decided to download and check out Firefox for the first time a couple minutes ago. It's pretty decent. I did figure out how to set the pages to tabs, but I have a question that maybe most people probably won't understand, but I have need for it.... Is it possible to setup Firefox to allow you to view multiple pages at the same time? Sorta like "tileing" the tabs? What I need is a horizontal split that allows you to view two pages at once. If not, does anyone know of any other browsers that support this? Thanks!
  5. I had actually created a batch timer at one time... but it was clunky and probably wouldn't serve your purpose very well.
  6. What policy are you trying to set? That would allow me to help you a little more.
  7. What ever happened to "get real world knowledge?" I hate book certified people. I have worked with too many of them. Here I am with no certs... I had people comming to me with certs asking me how to do things... Why? Because while they had read about it, they had never done it. Think you could read a book about driving and get in a car and drive it right away? Probaly not. Maybe you could read a book about brain surgery and be saving people's lives over night. Certifications just show you have the dedication to cram a crap load of information into your head in a short period of time. Real world experience will win every time.
  8. Well, if you have a Hot Topic close by why not just stop by there and buy the first DVD? You can also pick it up on their website.
  9. I'm actually quite sure they do support all of that... Oh well, if it's up and running for you then that's good. If not, give them a try. Been a customer on and off for nearly 2 years. Pleased.
  10. Sorry... I am a "do-it-yourselfer" so when people speak of all of the different apps that other members have put together I am lost. If you can explain it a little more to me I might be able to help. I spent over 2 years working with RIS so I will gladly apply my knowledge there. Or, you can wait for someone else to come along and know both. Let me know if I can help.
  11. Wow... I thought "red necks" were only located in the United States. Guess I was wrong...
  12. Um... I know RIS (Very well, I would say) I know what a Driver is WTF is "BTS"? Please be a little more specific.
  13. I hate QT!
  14. Why not just use the built in shutdown.exe? It does everything you would want it to.
  15. what exactly are your requirements?
  16. I checked it out... Looked nice... Until I clicked on 15 links and 14 of them were dead.
  17. @puntoMX You must have a bad router because in the year I have had this one I have NEVER had that problem. Oh, and I was wrong... I have a DI-604, not a 608. Sorry about that.

  20. OK... If you haven't seen Foamy the Squirrel it's time to be educated. Who is Foamy? Refer to avatar. Check out this cartoon... They are all great. One of the best flash cartoons out there... http://www.illwillpress.com/tech.html (Some cuss words... So be careful kiddies!) Wanna see more? http://www.illwillpress.com Hope you love Foamy as much as I do!
  21. Keep in mind while the unattended guide is a great "guideline" it is not the ONLY way to do it. Get to know how it works and you will figure out the little things you can do here and there. There are very few questions you can ask here that are new and original, especially when it comes to automating the installation of a piece of software. As stated above, do a search, you will find your answer.
  22. Just paid $2400 for Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium w/15 CALs. SBS Prem comes with SQL server, Enterprise server, Outlook 2003 licenses for each CAL, Sharepoint Services and a whole list of other stuff... For an office of less than 20 people at this time, it's a beautiful piece of work. In defense of IBM and any other BIG name source (purchased through Dell myself) they offer great customer support for these products and you can guarantee they are legit. Also, you can purchase Open license products through these sources, where as through a lot of "relailers" you can not.
  23. Not a problem.... from a command prompt do REG /? and it will give you help on how to do other things with that command. Glad I could help! Later
  24. I very much agree with Ge0ph... Server as a workstation is just plain stupid, unless you are doing it just to prove you can. I love Server 2003 myself... but would never run it as anything but a server.
  25. @ECHO OFF REG DELETE HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\control\SessionManager\CheckVerDLLs REG DELETE HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\control\SessionManager\WarnVerDLLs That should do the trick...
