zup fellow msn'ers.... We are using ghostcast server in our office to ghost a few of our machines. the problem is that almost every other one has a different nic. we need to create a boot disk for every pc that has a particular card. Is there a way that I can make a bootable CD-R or RW in which I can burn all the nic drivers that come with ghost and also able to burn additional ones later on? That way we dont have a stack of 50 floppies all over the place...bummer. thkz

happens to me too.... that's just a linksys router being a linksys....try a firmware update (they usually fix the prob), or reboot the router. you'll be fine. and if you upgrade/reboot, make sure you remember your configurations since they will be wiped out.

well this doesnt happen ALL the time. Mostly just once in a blue moon, or just once and then work forever (so far). Any other ideas?

zup peeps, I cant take it anymore.... I need to buy a DVD+-R/W....well dont need...just WANT one! I was at BestBuy looking through their selections and was wondering what would you suggest based on your knowledge of the whole dvd burner world or what you use. I also dont want to break the bank, looking to spend a max of $150. I saw a BUSLINK 8x for $143.00. Is that a good reliable drive? They even have a LiteON and Digital Research 8x for $133.00....oh the options... would appreciate some input to help me in my decision. thkz, ceez

have you tried repairing/reinstalling ie? that has always fixed about 80% of all my ie problems throughout my lifetime in the pc world. and check the date on your pc. make sure it's current. and what are you running 2 pc's? one with xp pro and another with 2k3 enterprise? dual boot? which one are you using if stand-alone. dont know if any of these Q's can help, but I am just curious.

zup peeps, So i've done this before and had no probs. I am trying to slipstream sp1 (NOT sp1a) into a I386 folder. I extract the sp into folder SP1 and then type the following in cmd: c:\sp1\update\update /s:c:/I386 It waits for about 3 seconds and then I get the following: Failed to copy some or all of the files necessary for integrated install...... what am I doing wrong???? thkz
