As all have said, Intel now, im moving from AMD when i upgrade my board, cpu and mem next year, u just catn argue the power of intel now. and I just got a 8800GTS, gettign another at xmas b4 my board upgrade.

Current setup: Asus A8N SLi Premium Board Opteron 175 CPU 10% overclock 2GB Ballistixs Ram X3 SATA Hard Drives X2 Optical Drives Audigy 2 Platium EX sound card Floppy Drive GeForce 8600GTS X5 Cooling Fans Cold Cathode Light 500WATT Modular PSU So, Im wanting to get an XFX 8800GTS 320MB card to replace my 8600 I hear 500 watt will work, 600 recomended. IF my current setup can support a 88gts without having to upgrade my PSU, bonus, but if i do HAVE to upgrade my PSU, then i will have to, just if i can save on not buying a new PSU, woudl be great, but i dotn wanna suffer from power loss. Yes and Yes as well. Sometimes I download full albums to see what there like, as 30 seconds preview on iTunes aint enough for me! And then if I liek I buy, truthfully. Also, if a Film isnt out on DVD yet, I'd download it, but buy it when its out, as I love crisp DVD quality on my 6.1 sound system Most stuff I'd buy after "pirating"

Hey guys, I don't have a static IP, but I could easily get one off my ISP. I know all the Pros with it, and i'm considerign setting up a FTP server with my new NAS box, obviosuly this is 100x better with a static IP. Any advice with it, due to hackers etc, I have a NAT router, and a firewall on all my PC's...any advice beofe i get a static IP?

opterons generally overclock a lot better...and that cpu only has 512 L2 cache per core, pants imo.

I went for an Opteron Dual Core Socket 939, as it was a cheaper option, went for the 175 Chip, off ebay, 2.2GHz Stock, got it up to just under 2.8GHz, very happy with it! I overlcock via my system bios, easier option.
