I ran memtest over night last night, 8 hours solid, no problems. have run orthos before, took it to work so ran it for a few hours, no probs... liek today, not one BSOD, and ive been playing COD4, yet last night i had loads watching LOST in itunes...:S

Ahhhh! Ok, update: Formatted a few weeks ago, was all good, seemed stable. Then a few BSOD's in games... Now they have gotten regular again, random as before, can be BSOD in game, in a movie, in a screensaver...or when its just web browsing, or doing nothing. They can be with graphics card drivers, USB drivers, or other system files....some are blank errors. Tonight was watching LOST in itunes....about 4/5 BSOD's during it. anyway, going to buy a new PSU on monday, 750W (from a 500W). Will also try memtest again over night tonight. Any other input or advice?

well, got tired of zone alarm. the interface looked cheap, and all the popups were annoying as hell, and ive used other ones which do popup yes, but not like zonealarm. Wasnt very user friendly IMO, peole may disagree, but thats wat i felt. Using Comodo now, great interface, user friendly with great features...and its free (yes zone alarm basic is, but pro isnt)

Totally agree with you here. Yet the water in Crysis looks pretty much like overflowing from my monitor hehe, so true

dunno tbh, after playign the demo got bored...nothing special in it. Now, performance wise it sucks monkey balls! COD4 looks just as good, if not better imo, and runs 10x better as well!

only cost me £30....aint expensive.

true, the GT is just a marketing scam from nvidia, not long till the 9 series will be out. there gnna be blindingly fast! My GTS runs all new games on max, except crysis, but who cares for crysis, got a crap engine like last time, and at a FPS rate of just under 100 in new games (cod4, UT3)

Torque is used to accelerate dude . depends on the torque/rpm ratio, i was just using that as an example, not to get into a discussion on cars

I used to have a BFG card, was briilliant, was my 8600GT, now i have an XFX 88ooGTS 320 MB, superb card. Some people may say go for the new GT version...personally i say dont, its not as powerful in DX10 games. its like a car...the GT has acceleration, but no torque.

Anyone playing the multiplayer? its totally minted! the perk system and unlocks are superb!and plus the gameplay is very enjoyable!

fair enough, and imo asus are rock solid ive used them for both intel and amd, both are sweet

but u dont have to normal windows works with a 64 cpu, just incase you wondered

just see if the motherboard supports that cpu, as you would with any cpu purchase, aint gotta worry about the 64 part, cause if it dotn support the x64 cpu, it just wont

ive used power dvd for a logn time time, from version 4 to 7 and dont have that problem with NOD32 at all
