a good way to do the serial numbers side of things is via a .reg file that is imported at the first real bootup of windows but thats just me

i use flashget coz i can save my download list and move it from one pc to another pc to resume my gettting ( and you would have to move the partly download files over to the other pc to resume )

In fact, BSD and probably Linux use more RAM than any windows : they use as much RAM as possible. the way that linux runs its program is more HARD on the memory BUT .. heres the killer if there is a Kernal UP it can be DONE without the need for restarting the PC for the changes to take place and its loads the programs into memory which helps on the speed thats if i can recall right ... yes: the *NIX ( BSD / Linux ) use more memory but once you closed that program ... its feee up back up

not sure if u can disable the swap file but you need a pc with 512 mb of ram to be able to do it for a temp time due to the fact you dont have any give = if your memory fills up ,you got a big problem personal i dont think u can due to windows use the fileswap dueing the install of the OS and setting up of windows but im sure you can run a .reg file to disable it .. but than you need to reboot for that work

XP on 32 mb of ram arrr XP it slow , and next to dead on 64 mb of ram i say get windows 95 for it

i only test it with xp pro , sp2 as my core test base i use so it work on that maybe IE 7 is the problem when i get some free time i iwll give it another run ...

sounds like you have enable auto log on of a user account there thats all give me a min or two to find how to disable that for you go to start - run - > type "control userpasswords2" (enter) than tick the " users must enter user name and password to use this computer see if thats helps
