I got that kind of reply often My problem is that we're not yet ready to replace the backend servers (redisgn, costs and downtime considerations) but very much need to add new workstations at the front end. Unfortunately, the new models of workstations available now in the market does not support the Windows NT 4 OS. We already tried Mozilla, Netscape, and even firefox but to no avail. Right now, just for stop-gap measures, I'm forced to settle for the limitations (and holes) of the IE4/Windows2k/XP combination. Anyway, its a controlled environment, being a small intranet for one, where it might be manageble for us to monitor security and post audits, just as long as the backend database doesnt get corrupted due to incompatibilities with the frontend browsers.
