me use IE 7 ................ only if im 77 FT under! so thats a biggg no i see there is a IE 7 addon by johndoe74 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=84883 but the only way i see to get IE 7 installed i dont know how well its works due to the fact i dont use it and haven't tested it

dam ... thats odd as all hell i cant make a 8.8 GB ISO file ... for nlite ... but .. open the file in like winrar or another ISO viewing program and see whats in there ...

have you looked at the Nlite addons for IE 7

all what happen its copy the folder $OEM$\$$\web\wallpaper to => windows folder\web\wallpaper so whats every in the "$OEM$\$$\web\wallpaper" will be copied over

i find its easyer that way if you don't like some of the images you can pull them out or add more in maybe i will make a self-extracting one later one when i get all the images i wanted sorted but to than its just unzip n go

may way of dealing with xx amount of the same hardware type of pcs would be ghost install / update / patch so on on one box image it than roll it out when a pc goes down no need to do 7 hrs of work on the box if you got the right license of windows your using but you can remove any of the license keys that you used on the install box and replace them with each pc license keys for the OS and software if you got like office anti-virus updates and other stuff to install i dont see the point and installing them 10 times a month when one goes down its a waste of time the pc is out of use and a waste of your time when you could be doing other stuff

open up like the cmdlines.txt file in the <CDROOT>\$OEM$\ folder and add the line like %source%\wpi\wpi.hta try that ... see if thats works

the best way to do it is via a network drive like z:\ = \\IDS\wpi\ IDS = install data server or what pc that will be hosting the WPI folder

i say rehbar is right its cant be done you dont want to have a ""pre set " boot.ini file that is coyped over if you install windows OS to a diff partition than the boot.ini is set to than it will just ... f****K up your install BUT! you can try it in like VMware or MS VPC to make sure its works <CD ROOT>\$OEM$\c MUST HAVE $OEM$ !!! to work try that put the boot.ini file in there see if its works or not but i dont say to do it on a real cd / install box .. you never know when you going to install to a diff drive

your right there thats why i had a hard time trying to find a copy to download but i dont use hkSFV myself i use hashtab and quickSFV quickSFV to make the CRC32 files when doing a folder or more than one file and hashtab when im only looking at the MD5 or CRC32 of a file only

you cant ( i think) its happens in the lastest ver of Nlite i found but it doest worry me but im sure someone may know how to

increased security has not MS being saying that about there all of there windows OS ? arrr i think most people will stick to there xp ver of winodws if you got hardware that will not have drivers for the lastest like some TV tuner cards and other hardware but i hate to say you gotta wait for the dev kit comes out for vista before doing any editing / mod but im sure its out there but not for all yet

i would do a test run of it with the program that you will be using to make sure there is no problems with them missing

i get that problems with some of mine as well ... i just don't worry about them .. the addons that are not installed yet will installed

here is my try at wallpaper it can be used as normal desktop wallpaper as well as the WPI wallpaper the images are in 1200x1200 please don't ask for 1024x764 or the images will look arrr EEK! note this is my first real shot at making any type of art work from nothing so please be nice to it and me lol

i think to do the "Integration support for boot logo (instead of Winows XP Pro/Home etc...)" u gotta have the NT kernel install before you can apply any boot screen mods to it BUT! i also think you gotta have the UN edited ver of the kernel to be able to apply updates / services packs to the OS
