if you change where the program files to a diff drive or a diff name like c:\PF than it should be installed there but some will not .. but most should pick up the change and install there

nope if silent install they use the default settings

@ljama i would watch myself if i was you you could be very close to getting a warming by a mod + just chill out and relax man thats all what you need to do and have a look around im sure there is help on your problems and other problems you may have just look and you will be shock to see what you find here

arrr why are you posting it in the Nlite addon area if you got a program problem ? anyway ok do you have a router on ur network thats links ur LAN to the WAN (internet) or that ur port 21 ist open or what port your using on ur ftp server if so thats why coz the router is the WAN IP address and thats what happen to fix this you can do it one of some ways the way i do it is step 1 start - run copy n paste "notepad c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" if c:\ is not where windows is installed to or the windows folder is diff than change it step 2 add put in your 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 <tab> mysite.hosting.com hope thats helps a tab

im doing a rebuild so when i do , do a reinstall on the weekend its a 5 hrs job not a 8 hr job ( yes there is a lot of time to be saved if you do it right ) one of the problems i had was getting the WPI to load right but thats fix so ,, and that took like 4 shots but making sure the hotfix work without any problem is the pain in the a** that anyone will tell you that

i dont have any problems with the 1.21 ver of Nlite its takes a little while to learn the new layout but its works fine for me i done 10 test build with it in the last 50 hrs

so did it work ? ooh it was about a 33c day here n being inside with two pcs running it was pushing the room temp to a nice hot 39 ish c and up it was hot as all ......

try and run the .cmd file to see if its works on normal if so than its should be ok if not than you got a problem the best way to work out what the problem is by going to start - run - :type: "cmd" than going over to the path where the WPI is like e:\ cd $oem$ than type in wpi.cmd and see what error msg its displays up

hes rights 64 mb is good for normal use hell i have win98 on 24 / 32 mb of ram and running office 2000 pro on it without a problem tab slow yes but it worked well it was only a P1 100 HMz .... so but its depends on what you going to do with the PC is its is a a office pc for typeing docs and doing excel n access than it would be fine ... tab slow here n there but thats normal

i like G6 FTP server if you want to have more than one FTP site on the same box than you can like we use our FTP site and a local FTP site on the same box you can only log in on the LAN IP RANGE on the name@LAN but anyone whos got an account on the normal FTP host can log in

have you tryed it without them in there if you get no errors than add one of the two packs and try again and see if that works or not if its works than add the other one and see if you get the same old error if you get the error with the one pack added than that one is the problem but to be on the safe side try adding the other one to a clean copy of the windows files with the same settings arr i hope you can work out what im getting to there

i given up i keep getting a error its wants to reboot at the runonce part if there is a way to overide that would be nice or you could install it yourself lol hell its a 30 sec job at max or use the WPI to install it if you using that already yell at if u want the update autoscript it code to do ver 4.08 :: changes to the code are update to ver 4.08 change timewait from 500 to 50 MS thats its ooh thanks to i think " boardbabe " for the code i coyped

update : i got a autoit script i found working in windows at the time i will try n get it to do the job at the runonce if it doest work there i will get it do the job in windows as long as its install rights thats all what you care about give me 2 to 3 hrs also playing with Vlite at the time so the testing box is a tab powerless :/ arrr update : i cant be F**Ked at this now i will try it later on today when i get home after some sleep runonce is f**king me its not running at the runonce part its running at the t-13 or so part of the install is giving me the s***s im off to bed night all

try ur ISO in VMware to see if its works or not but thats odd as all hell it should of burn the ISO bootable without a problem i done it like that once or twice before without a problem

as i know no most are done like a service pack its replaces the old ver of the file in the I386 folder with the new ver type of deal but you should tell us what hotfix your adding addons : are install at the T-13 part of windows install

done i found you gotta have "drive D:" already format or you going to have a problem my way was to do this step1. format drive e: it will do drive c: first than e:\ reboot than e:\ will become d:\ than pick c:\ and install if you got drive d:\ already format and stuff it should be fine i didn't have any problems besides that with two new unformatted hdds in VMware [Options] ProfilesDir = "d:\Documents and Settings" TargetPath = "WINDOWS" temp_dir = %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp

mate i say u got winrar set to open ISO files thats why its showing up a an .RAR file thats all just open up nero if u got it install than file - > open ->( where the file is ) open and burn
