you could have have them copyed over at the runonce part of windows when windows boots up for the frist time it will move the files that being copyed like c:\mystuff\docs\username\docs\ to c:\doc n settings\username\doc\

its really what you personal like ............. thats all there is to it just play around with it all to see how its goes like step1. copy the windows cd to hdd step2 . add the services packs and updates to windows step3 . test it step4 . remove and play around with windows settings step5 . test it again step6 . repeat to you get it to what you like tip once you added the services packs to windows keep a backup copy of the XPCD folder just in case any of the hotfix's give you any problems

hi if u can wait 24 hrs for me to upload the lastest ver of OOO (openOffice) than i will but how to make the addon for it your self step 1 run the .exe file you downloaded for the openoffice than goto the folder where it unpacked to c:\doc & settings\<username>\desktop\openoffice.org (something like that it goes to ) than use the Nlite addon maker to make the addon you pick the .msi file and use the /passice so its like ooo.msi /passive and it will install it silent for you Bitcomet 0.76 i think its a /S bitcomet076.exe /S try that in a test PC just Google it and you will find what you wantting most times like "Bitcomet silent install switch"

i belive there is a tool to reduce the size of MS office but there is a tool thats lets you Customize MS office already out there

well some people do it via the runonce coz they haven't worked out yet how to get it to install in the installation part of windows

i take it u got the install files in the $OEM$\c\ folder to be copyed over to ur hdd so they can be installed if not thats maybe why its not working

Well IF it worked in VMware than it should of worked on a real box so thats a tab odd to have that happen BTW : wrong area try the Nlite area itself for help / qus on Nlite and bad topice name moving n editing topic name

QuickAlt.bat: QuickAlt.exe /VERYSILENT /SP- /NORESTART you gotta tell it where to find the quickalt.exe file to its looking at the $oem$ folder on the cd-rom like if you got it to copy over to c:\temp than you gotta add to the .bat file c:\temp\<filename> /switchs but you should use .cmd file just rename the bat to cmd but in any case it works as .bat or .cmd happy use

1. arrrr what 2. i guess your asking ( this is a guess only so im going to be wrong i bet) how do i get office 2003 to install with nlite or close to that make a file in the $OEM$ folder called like office1.cmd and put in there the "c:\install\office\cd1\setup.exe" save it than add to the "cmdlines.txt" office1.cmd to the end of the file and save it i hope i got your qus right and help in a way if not arrr sorry

well i dont think i seen that qus before and i dont see on the Nlite itself if it does BUT! .. i say give it a quick go and see if it does or not is the only way to find out if it does or not

use nero or something like that where you can add it to the cd / dvd if its a stand alone or if you using it as a part of Nlite just add it to the <CD ROOT> before clicking make ISO
