  1. I was hoping to play this one, when I'm back home, alas. Assassin’s Creed Mirage specs https://news.ubisoft.com/en-gb/article/5HKZEQn6zdHlK4LpgfwVdp/assassins-creed-mirage-pc-specs-and-features-revealed Requires a 64-bit Windows 10/11 https://www.ubisoft.com/en-ca/help/assassins-creed-mirage/purchases-and-rewards/article/system-requirements-for-assassins-creed-mirage/000105411
  2. Under €50? Hmmm... I've never got any troubles with the German Inter-Tech brand. This el-cheapo model works in my spare server PC 24/7 for 5 years. https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/90559458
  3. If you're not capable of doing in-depth diagnostics, I'd say better get rid of it. It's simply not worth it. It's a high chance it has an overload somewhere due to poor manufacturing process, besides 500W PSU isn't something to die for. Or even waste your precious time.
  4. He wrote "just noticed that no new registration is available here now". Thank you for the attempt to explain, I still find strange why would he be looking at the registration page, I didn't even look at that page myself since I got my account several years ago.
  5. Not sure I understand, could you please elaborate, you already have an account, but still want to register another fake one? I think it's forbidden, sorry in advance, if I misunderstood.
  6. He didn't write anything about "OS age", and I think we need to welcome when people take their time to help finding new browsers that would work on XP (which is this thread is about). "Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes"
  7. Just use Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider and you will get rid of the annoying windows popups and the such.
  8. The browser on this photo is NOT the one which is discussed here. Which browser is that? Standard Chrome?
  9. ChrisPC Screen Recorder
  10. First, I don't see a screenshot. Second, "the parameter is incorrect", look the link below. Third, you would need to run InfVerif.exe from the command line. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/inf-validation-errors-and-warnings

  12. Yes, right! Folks, thanks for the attention! Sorry, I'm not interested. From what I know, it's the remnants of CRC checks that produce this error. I don't know how and when I'll be able to help, I'm in the process of making some money for my military skills. As you all may have noticed my absence for some time. Hope you're all well.
  13. Greetings all, I don't remember if I have 348.12, but I'm sure I have 348.40, shall send when I return.
  14. Yes, I meant if his firm paid for non-cheapo LTBG licences, why wouldn't they simply demand moneyback, if they ignore reports, lol. I mean, it should work with official software, period!
  15. Not everyone would want to risk to use software made in Russia, especially the one that deals with executables. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't, my own preference, of course. And most importantly, when its code is closed source! throw std::exception(“PE Tools source code is not available”);
  16. Also, it doesn't accept generic e-mails for registering, it wants a good one, from a well known provider, which basically means you're giving up your phone.
  17. Says I need to make an account and then log in to download.
  18. I don't know if you saw the post about adding new functions to new browsers, old win10 are already out of support by chrome 118 and up.
  19. Only four? I read it's all the way up to 5-6!
  20. Maybe this is why they don't know what to do with the influx of "refugees"?
  21. There's still no proper dark theme for win7, even after 14 years, simply too few modders available, and looks like the interest in that OS is too low. I doubt someone is interested. And I think win32 is more about Vista.
  22. Did you report the issue to MS?
  23. I assume you applied the nosandbox?
  24. A bit, maybe, not much though, if we are to assume you run very basic 59-60HZ screens. Those who have troubles with high temps on a multi setup, they usually run 120HZ monitors and up.
  25. Sordum kills Defender Control updates due to conflict with Microsoft Defender "According to Sordum, users have been reporting problems and errors in their systems whereby they are unable to open or re-enable Microsoft Defender" https://www.neowin.net/news/sordum-kills-defender-control-updates-due-to-conflict-with-microsoft-defender/
