Ok, can we count it as your version of those events then? The browser turns on the lights and spins up the disks, then the chirping sounds follows, and all that just because the browsers from that place are simply bored? -
Chrome 115 working on Windows XP 32 bit

You're "done" because you have nothing to contradict to the facts scientifically (which is an expected behaviour on a technical forum), nor you can find any reports of the same behaviour in Chrome 115 Official Build. -
Chrome 115 working on Windows XP 32 bit

I did a proper research before the posting, but you - obviously not, it's especially funny because it's on your linked pages. The issue was fixed in v28, more than 10 years and confirmed by the developers and checked by the testers. Proof at the end of the page. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=234318 "Confirmed that floppy is not accessed when chrome is launched." Verified in 28.0.1500.95 (Official Build 213514) You're not agree with the obvious facts? Then I'd like to hear your version on why the "bug" is there in the browsers that originate from the same place. EDIT: but please without fighting and accusing me of something I didn't do. Stick to the facts. So far, the facts point out to one place you're not happy to hear about. -

I also remember I observed similar behaviour with Opera (spinning up/scanning even sleeping HDDs) back in 2017, soon after the Norwegians sold Opera to the new owners in Asia. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184135-arcticfoxienotheretoplaygames-360chrome-v1352022-rebuild-3/page/20/#comment-1232307 -
Chrome 115 working on Windows XP 32 bit

It's nothing new, all browsers from that country scan your files, already discussed here, found by @XP4ever https://msfn.org/board/topic/184135-arcticfoxienotheretoplaygames-360chrome-v1352022-rebuild-3/?do=findComment&comment=1232079 -
I beg you, please stop digging that old locked "rep farming" topic from the grave. I thought we were already over it. But if you still have questions, or not satisfied with the new upvotes limit, please contact, thank you: https://msfn.org/board/profile/94953-tripredacus/ While I understand your frustration, I can't ease your pain.

It's very simple, don't start off-topic discussions then. I login to the website, go to "unread posts", and what do I see? Right, one million of your posts about having not enough likes. Please stop, you ruin jaclaz's pleasant experience on the forum, I'm pretty sure it would be boring for him, it's spam.

While not clicking is good, I think more dangers come from java scripts. I at first wrote licking instead of clicking.

Should I get a GTX 1080ti or a GTX Titan X Pascal for vista?

It's no troubles at all, I understand, I'm just really trying to help you. -

@66cats, a small clarification to avoid confusions, NVCPL and all of the functions work with in all of the drivers I posted, with either Keppler, Pascal or Maxwell, except G1030. -

Yes, Pascal is where all that heavy mining began, OP, be on your guard when selecting the card. -

No, it's more like a rumour. From what I know, the problem with NVCPL causing this conflict still haven't been resolved by @win32in the later drivers, win32 please correct me if I missed the latest developments. NVCPL simply won't start (not the driver) and this causes the hang Orbit. I have a board with x58 chip, and this driver from the part 1 of my tutorial works with it. So, as another idea, you try my driver that doesn't depend on win32's ex-kernel. It works with 1080ti the OP of this topic asked about. https://msfn.org/board/topic/183688-breakthrough-new-nvidia-drivers-ported-to-vista-tutorial/ There's proof with screens it works. Want more HQ detailed screenshots? Then write to Tripredacus and demand my limit to be extended to at least 20mb. I, as the real content poster, deserve it, if he refuses, then all of you would have to entertain yourself with what's already posted, since my limit was up several years ago. -

You still need to follow all instructions, including the signing, despite what you already did. People need to follow instructions precisely. Still having doubts? Read below. @win32checked my modded driver and confirmed "the byte sequences in the other thread are valid for modding the driver". https://msfn.org/board/topic/181612-wip-windows-vista-extended-kernel/?do=findComment&comment=1235379 I'm sorry, I don't know how to assist your further. Everything you need to know on how to mod had been said in the thread already. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184056-breakthrough-p2-new-pascal-special-microsoft-nvidia-driver-port-for-vista-x64/ -
My answer is reasonable as one can ever make. When D.Draker writes something, it means the information is solid. My military background demands to be disciplined, thus don't spread fake news. He can draw whatever amount of red arrows he wants, it doesn't change the facts. There are no quotes at the place where he drew that red arrow. Here's proof that quotes aren't needed, directly from Microsoft, about Edge, with one of the same flags/features he uses. Link to the source: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/you-can-now-enable-encrypted-client-hello-encrypted-sni-or-esni/m-p/3600372 I'm still waiting for the public apologies and his attacking/offensive post, the one where he makes a mockery out of me, to be edited.

Windows Media Player 11 : Good Alternatives To Use
D.Draker replied to legacyfan's topic in Windows 11
I tried that one, too. When I switch CUVID on, it becomes brighter, you know why? -
I wasn't catching anyone in a "a grammar trap." Come on, there's one million of live witnesses. Also, as religious people would say, God sees everything, fear of God. A fair solution would be now you both apologize. EDIT: Maybe then I reconsider postings of my valuable information, Take a note, it also says --flag-switches-begin, it's the beginning, also no quotes.

Yes, there's a correction in place, like I said! Of course! But whadda I know, I only a "doctor" Exactly! Thank you!
-
There are no quotes under chrome://version/ on his screenshot, why did you ignore the most important subject, I wonder? I'll answer, it's because Chrome doesn't need them. Whatever outdated info he passed to the chrome executable, chrome seems to be correcting it. Outdated, hence the keyword "archived article" he used. I couldn't have been able to port new browsers or anything to Vista if I hadn't knew it, so him calling me a doctor might have been an exaggeration, but overall he's right, I know "a bit" more about Chrome. With the current state of things on the forum, where people simply can't support normal discussion, I'm going to limit my free support, I already cancelled my ported Opera project, no more posting of modded nVidia drivers either.
