Hi all, by any chance, do you have this driver? Old notebook (8 years or more). model Asus P2420SJ with a very cheap nVidia 920m Keppler card. I'm pretty sure Fujitsu, MSI, HP, Toshiba also released that driver. Full driver version nVidia 348.12 (DriverVer = 05/08/2015, 9.18.13.4812) ! 32-bit, need only 32 bit. Thank you ! I want to install Vista 32 on that laptop, it had crappy performance with win8. The laptop is very weak, win8 is its performance killer.

Go to "import directory/kernel32" and search there.

Download UnGoogled Chromium here: https://portapps.io/app/ungoogled-chromium-portable/ Then simply replace everything in the chrome folder with. https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/releases/windows/64bit/109.0.5414.120-1 or https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/releases/windows/64bit/109.0.5414.75-1 Here is what differs from the original release to ensure portability: Following switches are passed to the process. --user-data-dir=<data_path>: Directory where the browser stores the user profile. <data_path> is dynamically generated at launch. --no-default-browser-check: Stops Ungoogled Chromium from checking if it is the default browser at startup. --disable-logging: Force logging to be disabled. --disable-breakpad: Disables the crash reporting. --disable-machine-id: Allows disabling the machine ID generation on Windows. --disable-encryption-win: Allows disabling encryption on Windows for cookies, passwords, settings… --disable-machine-id and --disable-encryption-win have been specially crafted to ensure portability. This means that passwords, cookies and other settings will not be encrypted on your hard drive. It is therefore advisable to have this data on an encrypted hard disk. Still having difficulties? Try this ready made release (but older). https://github.com/portapps/ungoogled-chromium-portable/releases/tag/103.0.5060.114-15

Of course it needs to be patched, you'll have to patch Opera.dll with CFF explorer and switch off the sandbox with the cmd flag —no-sandbox, this will make the browser insecure, but it will load pages. I guess it's fine, but only if you visit sites you 100% trust.

Ungoogled 109 is the last for Windows 7, it can be made fully portable with the help of just 2 flags.
-
Open up gzdoom.exe with CFF Explorer and replace with the same string, but without "Try". Make a backup before!
-
From a purely technical persperctive (so no offence), the app doesn't work as intended, you simply switched off the most important security feature. The last Opera-Chrome for Win7,8,8.1 are still based on Chrome 109, it will change if you fix the sandbox and make it fully working. like someone did in CatsXP.

Nothing strange, the extended Kernel for Vista is only x64. For XP it's not yet released. I don't know if it will ever be.
-
No. Vista x64 with the patched kernel is the minimum, as of now.
-
Never heard of that before! Do you have technical information?

I posted better screenshots with the latest version of supermium, no changes.
-
I don't have Win10, but the difference in fonts is obvious, not in favour of Supermium. I'm not saying Supermium is bad, no. It's just very fatiguing to use it for a long time. Compare "Get help with Catsxp" with "Get help with Supermium" on the screenshot.

Reading Italian is not one of my strongest abilities, but I'm pretty sure by "disco" they didn't mean the music style. Memoria or disco wording means they suspect your HDD or RAM be at fault, which could also point to the PAE patch. PAE patch doesn't get friendly with Nvidia drivers, the combination of PAE+Nvidia drivers don't go well with network drivers.

I had that particular BSOD error "d0000144 unknown hard error" in the past (circa 2012-2013), for me it was the system HDD failing. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/d0000144-unknown-hard-error/9e883793-46b5-475f-9edd-057b909be3ac https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/desktops-general-read-only/stop-d0000144-unknown-hard-error/647e425af4ccf8a8ded15746 https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/stop-d0000144-unknown-hard-error.17994653/

I'd want to see full portability, like they achieved in the ungoogled version, I'll then write a new loader app.
-
Strange it says it's running on Win10, people on his github page wrote Supermium shows your true OS.
-
Absolutely agree, indeed a good browser. I trust it and even use it for banking, Made in Germany.

Thank you, thank , thank you jaclaz! Facts, independent and unbiased statements is what we really need. I shall make sure to upvote your post as soon as the new drastic "timing" limit will be regenerated (reset) for the new day.

It's not relevant to the windows XP version, even if we are to somehow assume it might be true.

@NotHereToPlayGames, wait a minute! You're deviating from the course! You were going to also remove "telemetry" to force us to use it, we "MUST", lol. OK, when shall we be seeing the patched version? Enlighten us, please.
