there are other junk sites like this one that claim XP compatibility, you only know if its XP capable once you donwload the software in short, it doesn't bring any thing better than @roytam1's Serpent 52- 35 replies

I doubt so. the FF2 visual theme I use on the 52 doesn't work on the 55 as intended.

How to install net framework 4.5 and later versions on Windows 2000
caliber replied to WinFX's topic in Windows 2000/2003/NT4
How to install this patch on XP ? -
what is the real difference between the 52 and 55 ?
-
so the brazilian patch will not support the chinese 360 browser ?
-
well... all this was not described this way at the win-raid forum. https://www.win-raid.com/t4035f45-Windows-XP-Bit-and-Server-Bit-on-Modern-Hardware-242.html#msg96981 this is why I was asking for help. I had to extract those files from the XP ISO cab folder because they were not available in the system32 folder or just had different sizes I have found the ntkrpamp file in the windows\driver cahe\i386 and the halmacpi was missing. the russian patch was tested on another mainboard and it works just fine however it doesn't run on my current computer, hence I wanted to test your patch. I'm glad to hear @Dibya will be making an executable patch so we don't have to mess with individual files anymore. the russian patch is simply perfect, anybody with no programming skills is able to install or uninstll it with a single click
-
@jaclaz Which method are you using ? once files are patched do I need to copy paste them in the system32 folder ?
-
@jaclaz thanks for your input but I had already done that yesterday I did put the folder on the desktop so I only had to type >> cd desktop.... cd daniel..... I just wanted to know what I have to type once the black windows is open.

if you want to help others do it otherwise get a life and move on if you bring nothing to this thread. I was unaware that the PAE patch was made by geek minds for nerds only.....

try to disable your Adguard extension ? -
OK thanks. the command window is open what's the next step now ? have you already tested this patch by yourself ? if I ever get a BSOD on startup right after XP logon may I switch over to another boot ini ? this is the advantage of the russian made patch over the @Dibya one, I have no need to reinstall XP nor replace hal-kernel files

Firefox has become totally useless over the past month but it was not the site was refering to. the main YT site is full white and you can only watch a video if you have a direct link to it. -
Yes it's black but it only lasts half a second.

the gecko mode is active by default now I have both gecko and firefox set to false and have modified the UA individually for different sites and it seems to work. but it's a pain of having to manually modify every site one by one... -

it has no effect, the problem persists -
will give a try to that patch which I was unaware of If you want another user friendly patch, the following one with a single click it's done. the best thing is that is doesn't ''destroy'' your system files so you can quickly uninstall it in case your system doesn't run properly.
