New pictures: USB Composite Device errors are NTKERN.VXD Code 2 - loader could not load device driver. Update: Even all unknow devices could be manually detected as Intel devices with 2017 driver.. But i wonder why they arent detect during installation, i just copied new infs, should i also deleted the old ones?

Ok just because of USB problem fixing removed1 system device and finally now right device name was detected, i wrote above i did PCI removal, it wasnt enough.. I removed all other system devices and right names were detected too.

Hello, i have great old installation with one flaw and its problem with adding new audio devices. I have compared working and not working systems and only difference which i could find is missing Microsoft streaming service proxy. In this installation i once, cleaned all device manager in safe mode in include all virtual audio devices.. and im not able to reinstall this one, i tried to all multimedia tree of add new hardware wizard all other virtual audio devices are there but not this one. This one is somehow related to DirectX, because in system drivers folder is migrate folder, where are *.inf and files for this device and tried all thi ksfilter.inf files load through i have a disc for hardware addition, but these devices even when its name is these inf files, are never listed, only some game devices as joystick are listed.. I was somehow able to fix this problem by install of some PCI audio device, but its not ideal i have board without PCI slots and need USB audio make to work. So question is there some way how reistall Microsoft streaming proxy audio device without PCI audio card installation? I have installed clean Windows 98 USB instalattion + USB drivers and connected USB audio and Streaming proxy is already there with original DirectX 6. Ok i tested it, result almost fine, but not without issues. Probably because of setup /p i parameters (i wonder could it be combined with other switches?, i didnt use others for this installation) , more devices were detected, even PCI bus and IDE controlelrs, videocard, but only again with generic names, any specific Intel XXX (but devices has 1-06-2015 driver date, so LoneCrusades inf are used).. I copied infs to windows installation inf folder, removed PCI bus and added it back, but its still the same. Once again i had to change IRQ for COM1 device from IRQ 4 to 3 to, to make USB controller start. USB 3.5, i have problem to locate USBD.SYS, during installation its copied somewere but dialog is so quick that i dont know where.. I can extract installation package with 7zip as in case NUSB3.6, was i cant copy file to right place.. I scanned whole disc, include archives for this file, but except original file(alter nUSB3.5 installation) -06/08/2000) and file in USP3 - 3.56 (01/04/2001) i didnt find any. There 5 USB PCI unknow devices, none recognized automatically.. But they are detected manually by Device manager driver search, now im testing them. Update: Controllers are detected fine, but there some problem with hubs and devices, devices are detected but after reboot there is freeze, related to PCIto PCI bridge enumerating.. I wonder if install MB with /p i to ingore AHCI, its that reason for not working automatic shutdown, could it be fixed, or its Nvidia 7950GT problem (i still have only VGA driver for it). Trend is that there is usually 1 serial port, which could be disabled in the BIOS, at least my Q170 and T170 and Z97 boards have it.

You could spend whole life on quest on eliminate other possibilities (unlikely), im using lots of software, i think that i did enough testing, as i said your patches require too much user maintenance or involvement, they could be more automated /"intelligent" / polished from my point of view. Im sure that with my AMD970 is met so bug it the patches, would bet on it significant sum.. Back from philosophical software development differences, where we can agree to disagree.. Technical stuff: - I managed to get USB working, by changing IRQ for one serial port from 4 to 3, that Bios is probably very bad except 32 bit 920 MB problem, there virtual devices for 2 COM port and LPT and when i checked board manual didnt find any headers for them. Now i need to wait for Win98 compatible PCI-E sound or PCI-E NIC, or PCI-E to PCI bridge arrival, all of these are on the way.. Otherwise i have my classic no audio device problem, which is connected with this cloned installation. I managed to get USB audio device to work as recording device but not as playback device.. It look that i need some Microsoft streaming proxy virtual device (its somehow connected with DirectX(reinstalled too)) installed, i found in which *.inf file it is not, when i point Add hardware wizard to this file this device is not listed. There to main possibilities how it would be fixed - by installation of proper PCI/PCI-E soundcard and its removal, or by removal all virtual audio devices from safe mode device manager, i fixed it two times on other machine, but i hard to tell exact how to its fixable. Things are getting even more interesting (complicated) with Y cable + PS2 switches. For example my Conroe machine need to have PS2 switch devices assigned during boot, otherwise its not working. even without Y cable..

I know, i can only say that free things are better.. even if you dont care about money, you could just copy them, send them, modify them, without thinking overhead.. You RAM patch is probably better solution, when it is working, so for best of best solution, make probably sense.. If im not wrong himem.sys means no boot machine with > 512 MB, so you should accept it as standard (or maybe is there better free alternative..) and frequent solution.. There some people are not need or want all your patches. Im using that himem.exe 3.32 for years and if have issues that it there not visible to me. Yeah i have life outside of this so i will provide it in the future..

There board with PS 2 mouse and keyboard support on 1 PS/2 port, but you need to have in BIOS explicit PS/2 Y cable support or something like that.

Its working, no paid patches needed, it just working, emulated HW is most common, issues could be some videomode support, i didnt tested it so much, but Unraid / KVM i thing have sometimes some issues with bad videomodes detection and adjustment, but this not nothing unfixable by further QEMU or Unraids updates. Well - my machine still hang at shutdown, i dunno i if is Nvidia related (maybe i dont have proper component in device manager for atx shutdown, but reset is working), that one thing. There are lots of version of shutdown patch in this thread, so perhaps i expected that new version coud be better. Im not missed some note there is nothing about version of patch in your Nvsize patch.. Last thing is error message, this are exactly things which i hate, to be honest, not proper error exception handling, stone age programming, i should got patch already applied or similar message.. Its same like command line utility without any echo, if is successful..
