actually its not a dell psu, as far as i know the only part of the computer that dell makes it the case, they just take parts from other companies and put it together

u need to reinstall windows, windows saves ur hardware configuration and if u change something then u may have to reinstall windows

what did u do special to ur disk? you obviously did something and do u have a retail copy?

maybe clear the cmos

also copy over netdetect.net, that file usually is the next error after u fix ntldr

or a tv tuner/pvr

a satellite card? is there such a thing?

ok, im vry sry then, there have just been alot of ppl asking where they could download longhorn before, illegally, and i just thought that u were one of them

im pretty freed up now my OS part is 3.5 gigs out of 7.33 and has all of my installed crap there my 2nd part is the sims 2, i didnt want it to frag my widows stuff b/c its gets fragged easily-still need to install but takes around 3gigs of its 4.41 part my 3rd part is backups, 4.55gigs out of 25.5

so this thread turned from the size of our hard drives and into the size of our HD

its in a laptop and sometimes i touch the bottom of the laptop, right where the hdd is, and it burning like crazy, speedfan gets it close to 70C sometimes also i ended up just reinstalling windows b/c i tried all last night to make it work

@mekrel- since u have 754 then ur right in ur case, and for one-sided sticks, those allow u to run 4x512 at 1T but there are virtually none of them and they are rly crappy if u can find them so its not worth it @lostincyberspace2007- 2-2-2 is how fast the ram goes, the main one that matters is the 1st number, the numbers mean how mny times cycles the ram has to go through to complete a full cycle, obviously the lower the numbers then the faster the ram goes

the icon shows up if u have somehting plugged into the usb or pcmcia port, my dad's comp showed it when he got a usb printer and mine showed it when i got a wireless card for my laptop
