you should parition your hard drive and install ur games on the 2nd partition so that when you reinstall windows on ur 1st partition, the games wont be uninstalled.

defrag ur hard drive, run antivurus/antispyware stuff

and now spybot is telling me that i need an open internet connection but adaware is fine. anyone know if there is some servie that deals with this?

dont know how longs its been. i dont have any firewalls except for my router but nothing has been changed on that.

they are backwards compatible, the hitachi are at least, not sure about the WD but they should be. these drives dont need any different power.

im guessing that it could be a hardware problem, give the full specs of all of ur parts, the psu is most important. also get speedfan to see how hot ur comp is running when playing the game, could be an overheating problem.
