info on the error. look in ur manuel to see if there is a list of errors, or maybe just call compaq to find out what the error means. we cant rly help since we have no clue waht the erros is suppose to mean.

well what happened? did u start up the comp and get a bunch of errors? if so then you will have to mod the driver .inf file and put in ur hardware id.

do u NEED a vid card right now? why cant you just get a regular mobo and then save up for the vid card, you dont need one to run ur comp.

i hid the drive with tweakui. if i delete the drive letter on one of the installations then would it change nothing on the other? and for the hdd, my dad doesnt want anything more, he doesnt even use 2 gigs with xp sp2. also his mobo only supports ide 66 hdds are those are pretty much obsolete. his comp runs very well tho considering he only uses the internet and MS excel.

there is something that you can buy that you connect to both of the psu's to so that when u push the power button on, both psu will turn on. ill have to search for it again.

hiding does nothing, i can still access any drive by typing in the letter. very good idea you get there, too bad its my dad has an 8gig hdd. lol
