hmm.. i thought i had it in there but its not, i made a few different UA's lately and i guess i didnt copy over the winnt.sif from the other one to my new one

i was able to get a theme installed but i have to select to use it in the appearance tab of the desktop settings. how can i just tell xp to use it when it installs? i followed the method in the UA guide.

i just ran them off of the cd from vmware and they installed fine, but they wont install the runonce method

i am trying to use runonce off of my cd and i am having some problems with some of the installs acrobat reader gives me the error in the attached pic, when i run it in windows to silent install works fine but not off of the cd perfectdisk just kind of hangs, again only on the cd, in windows is works fine do you think that they might need temp files but cant put them on the cd? what solutions do you think that i could use? maybe put them in the oem folder and install from there?

well do you already have a c: drive? otherwise i dont see the problem. it automatically assigns it and i dont think that you can change it.

ok im back, the first week of overclocking you will need to burn in. wht you are trying to accomplish here is to make your cpu run and the lowest voltage possible while remaining stable, thus allowing you to up the voltage more later on. download clockgen http://www.cpuid.org/clockgen.php download prime 95 http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm now you need to go back to ur stock speeds if youve changed anything! now you need to run prime95(it will run ur cpu at max speed) for an hour, then every hour use clockgen to lower your voltage by 0.025 until prime95 fails. use large ffts for prime 95. once it fails then you can close clockgen and keep prime95 running for a whole week! yes a whole week. you should run it at least 8 hours a day but if you leave it on longer then the better it will be, so if you NEED to use it then you can exit prime95. or if you need to sleep and the comp is in ur room.... make sure to write down the conrtol/base so you have a benchmark for how the progress is going. you should see by next week how much more stable the cpu is.

so you just want athlon64 and thats all? if you have the patience then wait and come back next year

do not sell it, you wont get much, just use it for now 64bit as in windows or an athlon64? i would recommend you to save up for the M2 socket thats coming out next year and the 64bit windows should be a whole lot more stable and there should be pleanty of drivers.

i find that true, there is no way that i would buy cd's, i dont have hundreds of dollars for music

also for that box that says "the path" the title of the box says lsass.exe and then something else but its too fast to make out

well the you can chang the channels from the tuner, or do u need it for the tv too?
