winamp is way better than wmp10 tho, much better inteface and easy to organize. i was just giving an alternate suggestion since he was having problems with wmp10

but you also have to remember that with the dfi mobo u need at least a 480watt psu. the ocz powerstream 520 would be what you want. and that ocz ram is good too.

well you should get that 2gigs of ram i showed you. and that mobo. yes the mobo is not for newbs but it is the best mobo out there. you will learn how to use it if you go and look through threads at dfi's forum.

well the floppy drive works. like i said before, you need to format the disk, this will be the only way to make the disk work. try to format a floppy you dont need. do you still have the files you need or are they only on that 1 floppy?

so what are you asking? if u want to upgrade then get a dfi nf4 ultra-d, 3200 venice or even better, an opteron 144 if u can find one. and get an evga 7800gt.

well he just meant if the bios detected the floppy drive. if the drive works in windows then ur fine.

that german dude is right, the cpu can easily bottleneck the gpu and visa versa. now what setting do you want to play those games in? it will be low to middle quality. if you want all high quality then you need to be looking at a 7800gt/gtx. if you dont want that then you should get sli. as far as the cpu, a better one would be nice but its not rly holding back ur vid card. if u were to get a 7800 then it would be holding it back but the performance would still be amazing, all high settings.

what kind of heatsink was it? if it was a stock heatsink, meaning that is came with the cpu, then it has a thermal pad which is pretty much the same as thermal paste but not as good. stock heatsinks come with a thermal pad which was most likely attached to the heatsink. and you do need some type of thermal paste or pad but never use both. for a thermal paste, arctic silver 5 is the best that is out there. also the paste is just pretty much a liquid paste, the pad is just a pad. that is the only real difference. the paste is better b/c it will seek into all of the little holes where the pad wont get all of them.

thats not too much info, that exactly enough info, if it was in english it would have been better... i hate it when ppl say they have and amd 3200, that means nothing to me b/c i have no clue what socket or what core it is. but since you dont see a bios screen, then its a hardware problem, and most likely the mobo has gone bad. if it was some other piece of hardware then you would at least see the bios screen. if ur still under warrenty then go and get it fixed. if not then you might be out of luck, just call toshiba.

well its suppose to be out withing 2 weeks from now. i will prolly be getting it in about a month. its going to overclock even better than the dfi's do now.

why, it is extremely easy to add a hdd. all you need to do is plug it in. look at ur mobo manual and it should give you good instructions.
