  1. hmm, strange why u dont have the same files, the modder should have worked for u
  2. there is a program called 1st security administrator, it will do that plus a crap load more, but it will cost http://www.softheap.com/secagent.html and 1st security agent http://www.softheap.com/newadmin.html not to osure if there is a difference between them...
  3. i know that this has been brought up before, but now since opera is free, many ppl have it. and there is the problem with the UA guide and its menu b/c of that add. is anyone currently trying to fix this or could someone either get rid of that add or move it somewhere else on the page?
  4. lol, wow that ironic but probably so true. they can create the virus and then who knows, maybe they get a bonus if they figure out how prevent it.
  5. nice budget comp
  6. you guys know how u can lock a computer by pushing the windows key+L ? well is there an option that i can have so that i can shutoff the computer while it is locked out?
  7. well i just figured out that it would allow me to attach it b/c the file size is too big but its only 177kbs... http://frontiernet.net/~unholyknights/CX_25203.inf u can dload it here also if u cant get into windows after installing it , then just boot into safe mode and uninstall the driver
  8. for the memory on the vid card, it is able to use 128mb and it has 32mb integrated into the vid card. so if u want to use 128mb then u will have to use ~96mb of your own ram, but u can just use the 32mb if u want since u wont rly be gaming. and can u just list the parts, newegg is having some problems for some reason or i think you copied the link wrong, u copied the reduced version of it that msfn does
  9. and if that doesnt work then just try to install it by going into the device manager and then find ur vid card, update driver, then choose the driver youself and open that inf file that u will dload.
  10. https://dlmdownloads.ati.com/akdlm/drivers/..._gart_26409.exe download this driver, extract the files, then put the attachment in E:\ATI\SUPPORT\5-8-igp_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_sb_gart_enu_25203\Driver\2KXP_INF\ or whatever the right path is but make sure u get the last few folders right, and overwright the file that is in that folder, then try to install it
  11. the way that i ended up doing it is thru an autoit file that runs with runonce u can dload the 2 files that are attached. startmenu.au3 will run delstartmenu.cmd which will delete both the admin and all users start menu, then startmenu.au3 will copy the folder Start Menu to be the new start menu for the admin. all u need to do is to have 1 folder, and insider it have these 2 files(with startmenu.au3 in exe form) and a folder called Start Menu. delstartmenu.cmd @echo off rd "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs" /s /q md "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs" rd "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs" /s /q md "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs" startmenu.au3 RunWait(@COMSPEC & " /c Start delStartMenu.cmd") Sleep(2000) Send("exit") Send("{ENTER}") DirCopy("Start Menu",@ProgramsDir,1) startmenu.au3 delStartMenu.cmd startmenu.exe
  12. now listen to everything i tell u and dont argue-i also need to know how much money you can spend on this, and also plan on getting almost every part from newegg mobo:dfi nf4 sli-dr cpu:X2 3800 hdd:2x160 hitachi(or WD if u want) sataII in raid 0 ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820227210 vidcard:evga 6600gt heatsink:thermalright xp-90 psu:ocz powerstream 520 or 600 case:that a good case if u dont even plan on going sli then save money and get the dfi nf4 ultra mobo, has just as many great features as the sli does for the ram, if u cant afford that then just get 1gb for now and another later, but that is some high quality ram for being 2gigs
  13. thats right, now what vid card u have?
  14. its not a total POS but ide pick the msi board over it and definetly the dfi over them all
  15. i totally agree with you on that TheFlash428. its kind of like how the FDA doesnt want people to be healthy b/c then their will be no need for drugs and then our economy will be screwed up. the AV companies in a way want ppl to be infected so that ppl will buy their product.
  16. lol, ur right zxian, im just so excited about having a chat room
  17. crap i missed it, totally forgot. so any news on anything thats going to happen?
  18. go into the device manager and find ur vid card, then go into its properties, and post the hardware id(HWID), then i wil send you the inf file for 4.9
  19. b/c the new one is prolly faster
  20. check in "C:\WINDOWS\Installer\" and search for the file "1033.mst" i think that all of those numbers are just wrong for some reason
  21. search thru the registry and backup the keys for these programs
  22. check out the unattended cd guide http://unattended.msfn.org/ also check out the unattended forum we have hear for more help but most imoortantly, use nilte, that forum is here too. that allows you to make it so that you can boot from the xp cd then walk away, then come back in an hour and xp will be all installed.
  23. your spendig around 300$ on those vid cards. you could have gotten a 6800gt instead. and for the mobo you should have gotten the dfi nf4 sli-dr. what ram is that? and do u plan on getting a heatsink?
  24. ya, for ~10$ more than the other one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813130491
  25. just something as simple as this, same graphics card as those mobos have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814102539 now u can get whatever mobo u want or u can save 15$ and get a pci card http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....Submit=Property
