but the thing is that graphics adds much more to the gameplay. i just feel like im there at times in oblivion, morrowinds graphics just sucked...

well thats just very very strange. b/c both of mine are 1280x1024 and im 100% sure of it. in the 111mb one the colors are just way better.

ya... you might not want to say that. but i also think these prices are pretty bad. btw, what is an upgrade vers? does that mean i cant install it as i normally would by booting the cd? MS should allow us to order thru them and give them our cdkey and they can discount us and give is a retail cd. upgrade is just pointless, and i dont want to dish out 500$ for vista, 300$ i guess is more reasonable.

i voted other b/c i like both.. there is just no clear answer to this question. if a game has amazing graphics but it sucks a**, then why would i want to play it? but i do love graphics a whole let, hence me having a 7800gt. but usually any game with sweet graphics is a good game anyways, such as oblivion! gameplay of coarse is important but i dont want to play a game that is like 10yrs old and looks really crappy. but thats for computers. now for consoles vs computers... a computer beats a console in every aspect but price. graphics are 10x better on a comp no matter what system your talking about, and to me the gameplay is alot better b/c i can use a mouse/keyboard. a controller just doesnt have enough buttons. now ive beaten both oblivion and hitman blood money on my computer, both of those games have amazing gameplay and graphics on the computer, ive never played them on a console so i cant tell. but HDR with oblivion is just f***ing AMAZING!!!

well how much money are we talking about? and did ur psu come with the case?... are you a gamer? if not than dx10 will be pointless to you.

certain sound cards have 4 pin inputs on the edges, for audio directly from a CD or DVD drive. if those cables have a problem, audio will not work. so its only certain cards? b/c ive never come accross a card that i needed to do that for.

i love videos that are the width of my screen but i dont see why its HD quality... i would think that HD would be bigger than that.

you cant encypt the whole cd, otherwise how will you be able to even view it? but u can just encrypt all of the files.

f*** i cant wait for this game! i wonder if will need a dx10 card to play this on max settings, lol i'm going to prolly get a brand new vid card just for this

what exactly do u need it protected for? do you only have 1 cd and are afraid of someone getting their hands on it? maybe encrypt the file with winrar or something...

well yes power could be an issue. what psu do you have? like i said before when i was taking a fan out of my psu, i had this problem and i was so scared! then after a little while it just got fixed...

well how hot is it? try reseating the video card fan, maybe you put too much thermal paste on...

what cables are you talking about? the sound card doesnt connect to the motherboard with cables, its just a pci slot... if your talking about the cd drive then there is no point in connecting those wires....

well are you going to upgrade your cpu? if not then what do you plan on getting out of a new mobo? i would higly suggest just saving up money for a new system instead of buying an already outdated mobo..
