  1. And if you really want to kill everything that runs in the background, run MSCONFIG from the "Run" line. Then choose "selective startup" then uncheck the line that reads "Load startup group items" and restart the computer. That will ensure that nothing except Windows itself is running.

  14. I have the same in Texas when it comes to bad weather. When it rains (which can be few and far between) we lose signal on the dish. I would recommend cable if available...
  15. Wel I am not a current broadband user but from what I have seen on the pricing...You better stay where you are. I've not seen anything for less than $35 typically.

It seems like the bulk of problems indicate that the cd drive may be in PIO mode.   22. The only time I have seen that message with that game was when trying to get that game (Matrix) to run on a box with an Intel graphics adapter. The systems I was testing both had Intel video on the motherboard. I see that you have a Radeon card but does your MB also have onboard video support?
