Has anyone had problems doing this or is there another approach to this? Thanks

  17. I slipstreamed my XP disk with SP2. Between the 15-20 minute time remaining display it gives me an error: Windows Cannot load the Internet Configuration Library (ICFGNT.dll) The following error occured The specified module could not be found. I searched the internet and it seems this file is located in an icw.cab or icwcon.cab directory - this doesnt exist on my disk neither does it exist on SP2 or my original XP cd. The only file that exists is ICFGNT5.dll Anyone know how to resolve this error? Thanks

  21. Im having difficulties in understanding how to use RunOnceEx and creating the target path. I read the following: The address for the program i want to install is C:\WXPO\$OEM$\$1\drivers\000_ChipSetwithin this folder i have an installshield file (setup.exe) that i want to execute so it would install my driver so used RunonceEx with the following command Description Programfile _______________________________________________________ Chipset driver %cdrom%\$OEM$\$1\drivers\000_ChipSet\ (it was %cdrom%\$OEM$\$1\drivers\000_ChipSet\SETUP.exe but for some reason it disappeared) The quote above says Where does these lines go (after changing it to my program)? Do i need to create some file and then save it some where? Do i need to add anything to cmdlines.txt thanks in advance
  22. Ive read up on unattend msfn and have some questions with slipstreaming my disk along with my tweaks 1. Ive deleted svcpack.inf - is this going to be a problem? 2. I need to install IIS BEFORE .Net Framework so at which point does Winnt.sif install IIS for me if im using cmdlines.txt to install the framework (i.e. how can i confirm IIS is installed before the framework) 3. About using RunOnceEx if i use the %cdrom% prefix im assuming this will recognise my CD Rom - could i specify my own directory which would hold my programs? Thanks
  23. I followed the instructions here: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/drivers.htm about installing drivers with my installation of Win XP SP2. One of my drivers is an .exe file and has no .inf file (has to dataCab files but when extracting it tells me that there are no archives). How would you guys recommed installing this driver during the installation? Thanks
  24. I know many who are asked to re-activate Windows and some who are completely locked out and cant get back into Windows (ive been told this is checked against your product key) if you call Microsoft they wont help you either, no matter what excuse you give them..... at this point is when Microsoft call their lawyers and "They will confiscate all of your computer equipment and you will likely spend the night in jail. And that’s just for starters" (joke)
