  1. if the printer you want added is a network printer with the print que on a server all you have to do is go to \\servername and the user can right click on the printer and say connect and he does not have to have admin rights. I think for adding a printer on a local computer you can do it if you are a poweruser too.
  2. some computers just run slow with SP2. Try installing a slipped stream version of winxp pro with sp2 integrated. some computers do better that way.
  3. Be more specific on the error, what error do you get, is it a BSOD, do you get any messages when you get the error. Any numbers.
  4. Try installing it with no cards installed except for motherboard, mem, and Video card. Pull out anything else and install them afterwards. Also I had a problem like this with a video card that had both the regular video connector and a high def connector. If I connected to the high def cable (the white end one) it would freeze up, but if I installed using the regular video connector (the blue one) it installed fine. Might be worth a try.

  15. my guess would be. Start Run CMD cd\windows\fonts do a dir to find the name of the font you want to del and then do DEL font.ttf where font is the name of the file for example to delete the Avant Garde Demi BT (TrueType) font I would type DEL AVGARDD.TTF and it would delete it. To get the font file names go to your windows font folder in explorer and view files in details, it will give you the font name and filename too. Good luck.
  16. did you try logging into it your computer with your account that should have administrator rights and then going to user accounts and see if her account is listed there, if it is you can delete it from there.
