  1. Guys, couldn't find any info on this. Does anyone know if it is possible to run Ghost with some sort of script to automatically upload the local disk to a network share? I have multiple workstations that need ghosting for archiving reasons and wanted to automate the process rather than manually launching Ghost on each one. Thanks!
  2. I am trying to write a script to pull the DHCP scope info from servers, some servers have various scopes, Does anyone know of a command for this? I have been looking around w/ no luck, is it even possible? TIA, 626klze
  3. Actually, I was facing the same issue as you about a year ago. There is a neat little way to force the policy on ALL the workstations on the domain w/out going to each machine. Look for NTConfig.pol, open regedt32.exe, load hive, select ntconfig.pol, select any name for it, add the registry keys you want to enforce on your workstations, unload hive. Make sure ntconfig.pol is saved in the NETLOGON directory of the Domain controller. I used this method to enforce the policy on 500 workstations when first implementing SUS, Worked like a charm. BTW, google ntconfig.pol, there is an article on it somewhere from WindowsItPro Good luck, 626KLZE
  4. I noticed in your "unattended2.txt" your path is 000_, while the actual path you show in your "filepaths.doc" begins with 001_, Sounds like your issue, good luck
  5. Hope someone realizes what dumb mistake I am making. I have run through the IEAK for corporate admins, I have added a dial-up and VPN connection, included 2 sites that should be on the pop-up blocker exception list and some security setting changes. Now I run the setup.exe, it restarts my pc, then when I click on IE, I get a Dial-up connection box, If i look at my network connections I see I have 3 connections (dialup, vpn and LAN) But when I look at the connection settings, It has "Always dial my default connection" selected, but that is not the way I configured it in the IEAK. What could be causing the settings to change? Thanks for any help guys,
  6. I have searched for a while, and only came up with one thread that was relevant, but it didn't work for me. Basically I need to disable the mouse so that users cannot close batch files that start running when they logon. Any1 have any idea? Thanks for the help, 626klze
  7. I have been searching w/out any luck, I want to be able to allow users on my network to install printers without being given full admin privileges. Is there a way to modify their privileges somewhere? Thanks for any suggestions,
