  1. I prefer PowerDesk Pro myself - been using it for years. starting with XP, recently updated for 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
  2. Google search for EasyBCDv2.3.0.207 - it helps setting up the boot order. What I did was install XP on C:\, then, from within XP run the Win7 installer - custom install - select D:\ to install Win7 and things should result in a dual-boot configuration.
  3. Latest beta: FlashPlayer20_0_0_255_beta_Plugin and FlashPlayer20_0_0_255_beta_ActiveX and FlashPlayer20_0_0_255_beta_Pepper and Shockwave12_2_2_172_Full

  5. I found an answer to this problem at: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider - you'll have to search for the procedure. (Installed just fine here when instructions followed.)
  6. Not necessary - you can download an ISO file of Win7 w/SP1 include - I just don't remember from where; file name is: en_windows_7_all_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso
  7. AMD 14.4 pack2 is for R5/7/9 200, HD 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000 AMD 14.4 pack3 is for R7 260X and HD7790 Hope this helps.

  11. www.passmark.com - look for RAMMon - see if it has what you're looking for.
  12. I noticed the same thing when I installed Update 4 - Chinese. Installed it anyway, the installer language has no impact on the functioning of the update. Have no idea why Microsoft posted a non-English version for downloads from the US, UK, etc.
  13. Follow these instructions: http://pureinfotech.com/2013/10/19/download-windows-81-iso-using-windows-8-product-key/

  15. If you uninstall the flight sim program does the problem go away? if it does then there's nothing wrong with the registry, the problem is the flt sim program.
  16. Take a look an the WinToolkit: http://www.wincert.net/forum/files/file/5-win-toolkit/
  17. I see no reason why it shouldn't. Does the version of XP w/SP3 you're using have any updates included or is it really out-of-date? I ask because you could update the source to include recent updates, WMP11, drivers, etc by using nLite, the Ryan VM Integrator, DriverPacks, and the WMP slipstreamer which could save some installation time.
  18. If both systems don't have the same 'hardware' then you could have a boot problem moving the drive to where you want it - this problem is usually repaired by booting from an install CD and doing a "repair" install - this allow the install routine to detect the 'new' hardware and update things accordingly. If you can boot from a flash drive - this will suffice to do a repair install. Have fun.
  19. If it helps I installed XP Pro x64 w/SP2 on the following: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 X79 8X DIMM PCIe 3.0 Motherboard Intel Core i7-3960X 3.31 LGA 2011 Processor BX80619i73960X Intel RTS2011LC Liquid Cooling Solution (Radiator: G 31573-001; Fan: G 31457-001 - replaces rear case fan) Kingston KHX24C11T3K4/32X (quad 32Gb memory kit) 2 each ASUS Radeon HD7970 DirectCUII 3Gb GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (two each) connected in CrossfireX Mode Western Digital Cavier Black 2Tb SATA III 6.0GB/S (two each) Plextor PX-L890SA Internal SATA drives (two each) OCZ Technologies Vertex 4 SATAIII 6Gb/s 512Gb Solid State Drive
