  1. Well, you could do this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/126449 or this http://tinyurl.com/3xuqp52 Cheers
  2. Ok, so you could look at your source and check if the intelppm.sys (or intelppm.sy_) exists and if it's the exact version. At the same time, can you say which update it is, since I can only find it for XPSP2? When we're at it, why not try integrating the driver into vLite?
  3. Could you explain more how you integrate the driver, since I don't see it under the Drivers section in your Last Session.ini. Is there an .inf file that vLite can read? Is the driver extracted from a package? Cheers
  4. Welcome to MSFN. The only thing wrong is the forum where you posed the question (http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/89-nlite/), and the most common answer is under post #2 Cheers
  5. Yes urie, I noticed that as well, but it is working and that's all that matters, right? Cheers
  6. According to the offered download from a minute ago, v.4 beta 7. Cheers
  7. This looks like a topic revival, but if you had used search http://www.msfn.org/...__1#entry904019 Another guy was also interested http://www.msfn.org/...__1#entry927364
  8. Is this what is happening? http://www.vistax64.com/vista-performance-maintenance/91550-cdf-ms-files-stuck-c-windows-winsxs-temp-pending-renames.html

  10. If it doesn't burn OK, then save it as .iso and use ImgBurn to burn the .iso to a DVD. Cheers P.S. Welcome to MSFN and please do not double-post.
  11. Couldn't agree more; also, HP have a pretty good search engine. From then on, it's just a matter of comparing release dates and versions. @zuko1 please report on your progress. Cheers
  12. Yes, they are mirrors; you only need one of them. Add it to the Hotfixes, Addons and Update packs section in nLite (pic #6 in this picture guide http://win-x.co.cc/nliteimages.html) Cheers
  13. @jangdini please read post #976, Fernando has already answered it Cheers
  14. Yes and no. Here is a ready-made add-on if you want one http://www.ryanvm.ne...opic.php?t=6512 Considering these steps no, you don't copy them to the xp source folder. Choose any other directory, modify _SNMsynth.ini to process Net Framework 1.1 and produce an add-on and then run _SNMsynth.cmd.You can add the resulting add-on into nLite' Hotfixes, Sddons and Update packs section. Cheers
  15. @jangdini The driver has to be extracted. Either post the link to the driver or use the one already made by Fernando. Edit: I just found your model on the Acer website; the AHCI driver seems to be packed in a newer version of Install Shield. However, the important thing is that its version is 8.9.4.1004, and Fernando has a newer version 9.6.0.1014. So, if you're really insisting on getting the version from Acer's website, I'll see what I can do. Cheers
  16. Here's something interesting I noticed: - npqtplugin3.dll has to be added at the beginning if we want Firefox to read and load it from the Plugins folder. I know this from experience with a download manager I tested; renamed a .dll by adding NP at the beginning et voila! - After replacing every possible title from the QuickTime installer that was the same as the Program Files\QTLite folder (and restarted), I went to Firefox's Tools\Add-ons menu to see (to my great surprise) that it was now version 7.6.9.0!!! I am sure that prior to that it was 7.6.7.0 and was showing as vulnerable with a recommendation to update. How about that? Cheers
  17. @GrofLuigi In relation to your post #5, I've been doing something similar for quite some time; however, the QuickTime installer package does not contain the files found in Firefox/plugins, like npqtplugin.dll and QuickTimePlugin.class. Is there any chance that it is one of the many .dll files in QuickTime that just need to be renamed? Cheers
  18. These are not double updates; the .cab files address a very specific problem in nLite. -X-has made a topic about it. Read here Cheers
  19. They say they've got one down at driver guide http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=130168 It means you will have to sign up; I believe it's still free. Also. see if this will work ; there are download links in posts #8 and #10. Cheers
  20. It is confirmed; the installer will place a file called svchost.exe in your WINDOWS folder. This is the same file that infected my PC yesterday offered by the same user. This cannot be made unintentionally; a special folder was created and the file was put there.
  21. I would like to warn all the other users that no downloads are made before the integrity of the file is checked. This user's last post contained a virus that infected my PC, so I can check if it has the same patterns. Thank you
  22. I can testify this to be true. ASUS (whom I have experience with) are lazy and do not update a lot. In fact, for the notebook I have, they only released one set of drivers on their website, and the ones on the motherboard CD WERE actually newer. Sorry I can't help you out with your other (read: bigger) problem. Cheers
  23. Updated to latest version 06/12/2010 Rev.3639 by XhmikosR
  24. Thank you, I just tried it on this http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/files/SVN%20builds%20by%20XhmikosR/MSVC2010%20builds/ and it worked great. Cheers
