It is very doable, but it takes a lot of time. Maybe you could do a batch file, then call the updates from a folder. All you need to do later is add the new updates into the folder and the lines in the batch. Cheers

Hello again, John. My question just builds up on vinifera's. Let's say you have created an nLited XP x64 SP2 with all the updates up to June 2010. In November you may want to add a few more without using nLite on your already existing (nLited) source. Can you use /integrate for the new updates? Cheers P.S. Kurt_Aust's guide is excellent and VERY thorough; I have skimmed through it on occasions, but unfortunately my obligations don't allow me to be such an avid reader at the moment. Perhaps, if you are more familiar with the guide, you could direct me at which sections I should look.

One of the main problems is an nLite component, namely nhelper.exe, which is deleted after nLite finishes processing. I'm kinda wondering if it would be possible, after nLiting a CD with SP3 and hotfixes, to manually add hotfixes and updates through Command Prompt with the /integrate command. Actually, the thing is whether the correct entries would be written in svcpack.ini or wherever they need to be, taking into account that the afore mentioned file is compressed into svcpack.in_

Everything seems OK; you have added the UxTheme patch, but haven't integrated a service pack, although it is selected as a task. Now please tell us what drivers you are trying to add or which model is your PC or where you download them from, so we can tell you exactly what to do with them. Edit: since the CD is not yours, make sure you use the product key that you have, and not the one by your friend. Cheers

Inside the XP working folder (after using nLite) there is a file Last Session.ini (also found in C:\Program Files\nLite\Presets). Please attach it and tell us something more about the hardware your PC has. Do not attach Last Session_u.ini Cheers

Media Center failing to install on nlite'd Windows MCE 2005
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to fivegorillas's topic in nLite
Welcome to MSFN. First of all, please tell us if your copy has one CD or two, and if two, hot did you use them in nLite? The first thing that catches my eye, and can be known to cause problems (especially if you integrate a Service Pack) is you are using Vista or 7 on your host PC. nLite produces the best results on XP. Integration of NVIDIA's nForce RAID and AHCI drivers
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to Fernando 1's topic in nLite
The problem is that nLite wasn't meant for integrating more than one SATA/RAID driver. It will always use the one you integrated last. VirtualPC won't read SATA/RAID mode with XP. The solution is one CD per PC, with only one SATA/RAID driver, in accordance with the "Personal Use Only" policy. Cheers -
[Request] Auslogics Disk Defrag (svpack addon)
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to filtered's topic in Application Add-Ons
Same answer as here You could try to install them silently on your OS. Some software does not install toolbars when installed silently. If it works, I will create the add-ons for you. The switches for Auslogics Disk Defrag are /VERYSILENT /SP- /NORESTART -
[Request] Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 free v6.77
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to filtered's topic in Application Add-Ons
Not very likely to happen without installing the toolbar. Repackaging is not allowed, so you may wait around for someone to give you an AutoIt script, or you could give it a try yourself http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/index.shtml and/or Cheers -
Gladly, but there is this issue of redistributable files, and I don't believe they are. I am not prepared to do it without express permission of someone from the moderating team in this forum. Cheers

Are these files extracted directly from the ISO or modified with nLite? I'm getting different MD5 sums for USBPORT.SY_ in relation to my XPSP3 Pro.

@Takino Has a Last Session.ini been created (find it in C:\Program FIles\nLite\Presets or in the XP working folder)? If so, could you please post it? If not, provide more info on what else you are using, as add-ons, drivers, tweaks etc., or what you are trying to remove. Welcome to MSFN

It wasn't nice of you either not to read the EULA when installing nLite, otherwise you would have already known not to use it. -X- is right.

This is the error I got on two instances: 1. When logging in through http://www.msfn.org/...arch_app=forums 2. When logging in through http://www.msfn.org/board/ Reloading the page worked after 3-4 times with the second link; it is not a cookie issue as I was logging in through Firefox's Private Browsing with a clean cache. Cheers

So, are you trying to create an x86 or x64 disc? Last Session.ini says x86, and your first line x64. Another thing: You can't add a bunch of SATA/RAID drivers and expect it to work. nLite will use only the last one integrated (one of the things that you need to customize for only one PC). Another thing: Last Session.ini says you are running it on XPSP3. Furthermore, the latest SP3 for XP is version 5512, and you have 5503, obviously an earlier beta version. These are the most obvious ones, but they need looking into immediately. Cheers
