  1. Sweet Too bad I don't have a copy, or I would have tested myself Thanks again (and if there is an update, do post it)
  2. Thanks, Kel. Now, I think there was something in nLite that suppressed Windows install from checking if that requirement was met. Is there something like that for Windows 7? Cheers
  3. Is there a minimum requirement for free space on a HDD in order to install Windows 7 like there was in XP, along with warnings? I read somewhere that you should have at least 15 or 16GB. Thank you
  4. Every time I use IE8 (these past few days, since Firefox and GMail don't together well anymore), a file debug.log appears in the Desktop folder. The log file is empty. Any ideas how to make it not appear anymore? Cheers
  5. Install 7-Zip, right-click Fiddler2Setup.exe and choose 7-Zip->Open archive... Cheers
  6. How about with the CD? Start the CD and choose Remove. If it doesn't work, choose Repair and then Remove. Cheers
  7. No, it doesn't. Once again: nLite was never intended for commercial purpose, it doesn't provide support for users, and any install made to commercial PCs will void technical support from Microsoft. Do some search on the forums; you will find LOTS of closed topics just like this one. This is not a debatable issue.
  8. Welcome to MSFN. It is highly recommendable that you don't download Microsoft products from any other place than Microsoft websites. I'm very surprised of the speed, MS always give me as much speed as I can handle. Retry or get some free download manager to speed up the download. Edit: this download is smaller than the .iso http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=5b33b5a8-5e76-401f-be08-1e1555d4f3d4&displaylang=en
  9. See this guide
  10. Yes. You can see it when you install nLite, and there is a file license.txt in the nLite folder in Program Files.
  11. The file won't copy if you execute it from a batch file with a path that points to the CD. e.g. regedit /s %source%$OEM$\Folder\regfile.reg or start /wait %source%$OEM$\Folder\program.exe
  12. Well, why not run the .exe (or the .reg) file at first logon then? You can do both by invoking the installer or regedit, it is documented and very easy to do.
  13. Well... First is not a legal copy of Windows and therefore you will not get help with this;Second, your topic title is not clear at all. But, you would have known all that if you read the forum rules http://www.msfn.org/...tion=boardrules
  14. Even after johnhc's fair warning you continue discussing illegal downloads of Windows. I hope a moderator sees this post.
  15. But I'm sure it can be added as a .reg file through cmdlines.txt (T-12) Edit: stupid typo.
  16. If we are talking about an already installed copy of Windows, you could open Security Center from Control Panel, find "Change the way Security Center alerts me" (or something like that) on your left and untick "Notify me about Automatic Updates" (again, or something like that). Sorry for not being too precise, but I have removed Security Center through nLite and I'm doing this from memory. But, I presume you already knew this Cheers
  17. A .dmp can also be too big to upload, so I suggest you use an archive tool, such as 7-Zip (freeware), compress and upload to some external link, which you will then provide. Cheers
  18. Not that I know of, but if they are True Type fonts, there are tutorials on how to pack up to 300 fonts in a switchless installer and install it in a double-click. See this http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1401 and this http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6729 for Open Type support.
  19. And yet, using database 7.10.13.74 (29Oct2010) from 2 days ago, I get this:
  20. Welcome to MSFN. Use the search function for recovery disks and you will be able to find more info on this; people have managed to use recovery CDs with various rates of success. Cheers Edit: here's an example
  21. It is not really recommended you do that, otherwise it would be possible if you found the corresponding items and lines entered and deleted them. Starting from scratch is not that painful. You have your Last Session.ini to apply your desired settings to the new session, and, of course, it is the process of learning. Use a virtual machine to test everything and you should be fine. Cheers
  22. M$ at its old tricks again?
  23. You cannot use nLite for commercial use, only private.
  24. This forum does not support or indulge cracks, so you won't get any help. Read the forum rules http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/18408-forum-rules-updated-must-read/
  25. Mooms is already doing a great job in creating this add-on Cheers
