have done the same over here.defense+AV is taking so much process and slowing down the system.if you need the defense+ system which i believe noone does you should use the built-in one in your Av like KAV.

i can never undestand the pain ppl have about rapidshare as i always get my accounts for free via the premium points but still whats the problem with paying some cash for having a fast,reliable file hosting? you pay for your AV,firewall,windows.. right? then why not for the file hosting account if you use it alot? i would recommend getting an space from a webhost too, to share your files with others if you dont wanna share more than the webhost limit of course. anyway i dont think that anyone would put all that money and efford to a big hosting website/project and dont charge for it...

Sorry for bumping this but seems like this is more than just a sidebar problem,as i said i cant open my windows media player now none of the bottons in "tuneup utilities" works not even the close botton.and this is how my services.msc looks like in extended view: but its ok with standard view. the netlimiter is not working properly,the limiter option is enabled but settings doesnt apply. what can be the cause for this mess?

I have no idea how that could help but i just gave it a try and no result... i dont know if this is related or not but since i got this issue i cant start my windows media player...when i double-click on it nothing hapens,it doesnt even appear in task manager for one sec but the exe file exists.its not like it shuts down right after start,it doesnt even start.

closed sidebar,copy-pasted the command and restarted the sidebar but Still nothin...

i uninstalled all the non-default dadgets and removed all the running gadgets,restarted the sidebar and loaded some gadgets but still the same...

ok so i woke up and saw the monitor power LED is blinking though im sure i turned it off last night and none of the keyboard keys would wake up the windows,pressed RESET botton and when windows loaded up here is how my sidebar looks like: restarting the sidebar didnt work,any idea how to fix this?

why not using a firewall and block everything except the vpn connection? actualy you still get those things...if you download a file that is infected with a virus/trojan it doesnt matter if you use a vpn or any other connection but your privacy will be protected through vpn though

some home workstations are connecting to internet through a wireless access point which is connected to an adsl modem.i was wondering if theres a way to control the bandwidth of the workstations of this network? forexample a client-server based program which shows the list of current networks hosts and allow to control the bandwidth of those which has he client installed... Thanks alot for any help/info on this...
