sorry, i for got to mention that temperatures are all ok and also nothing appears on event viewer except for some http and dhcp errors.

thats the thing, i dont get any bluescreen's its just like i had a power reset.

ok this is killing me. my systems keeps getting reset in random, during the game, in windows, watching a movie... .sometimes it doesnt happen for a whole day and sometimes i get it like 5 times in an hour. i had my first reset experience after installing google chrome during playing WOW(game) then i uninstalled the chrome and i have random resets everywhere. where do i look for the source of this? i think its a software issue than hardware! Also different parts of control panel stops responding in random also. "uninstall programs" doesnt work at all and "network and sharing center" gives "page failed to load" most of the time.sometimes it works after some restarts.

OMG the only software/hardware i have installed in past few days is google chrome! but its not running, though im gonna uninstall it and will report. Update: yep that was it.uninstalled chrome,restarted and everything is fine again.pretty lame though! (Using vista X64)

it started few days ago, when im running games likw WOW my sound gets scratchy like the CPU is at 99% but when i minimize the game it gets to normal and when going in game again it happens again.from sysinternals process explorer i see that for few seconds after i minimize the game explorer.exe is at like 30% but no more and it cools down to 2-3% after that. any help?

You could also download and install NetLimiter it can be installed in server mode in one pc and client mode in other's.never tried the client mode my self but it has the feature. Hope this help

actualy i dont wanna change it.i want that program to use a different proxy settings than the one set in internet options.

after getting a sattelite internet connection im using a VPN with proxy for my connections though the latency is a bit higher than my ADSL so im trying to bypass the proxy settings for my game "World of warcraft". my question is if its possible to bypass the proxy settings in "internet options" for an specific program?

their service is not free just a try-out but even that needs a PIN which i dont know where to get.

thanks alot for the replies, after some research "crahak" due to the high latency i dont even consider the satellite connection for primary use when i have ADSL.though i decided to get a one-way connection for higher inbound speed.have installed all the hardwares already just need to get an account from broadsat.

thanks for the link nitro but there are 2 problems with their serivices, 1.they only have 2mbps connection spedd so it cost a little more than lower speeds like 1mbps which i rather get for the price. 2.they dont have 2-way connections only inbound.

i wanted to look up some sattelite connection price's and policies from diffrent ISP's and see if i can find a reasonable price to get my self one and get rid of terrible local connections in my country(Iran). though i didnt know where to start looking for or should i know anything first before i even start looking! i really appreciate any help or suggestions on where to start.

you really dont expect anyone to buy this one right? lets see! few days ago ive been called up for network being infected with malwares which had KIS installed on all systems and updated daily... you can give a total nOOb a mac and come back in one month and see no virus or malware ever infected the system...

is there any possible way we can set rocketdock to preserve the screen edge just like in objectdock free?

Well im just a normal computer user with no marketing experiences or knowledge but i run vista(was a long-time xp user) on my pc and have macbook botht at home. from my experience from both of these computers (which after my last pc upgrade mostly runs the same hardware type and models) i would say every beginner-moderate user should buy apple macosx(if can efford); 1.much better performance with everything, 2.everything works out-of-box, 3.you have all the app's you need for basic usage, 4.almost all parts of the OS runs just as you want them without the need of editing any settings, 5.installing softwares is much easier than windows infact its just the matter of copy pasting them, 6.you dont have to buy firewalls or antivirus's and wake up everymorning wishing there wasnt a new virus released on net last night which infected your network computers(which i know is only because mac shares a much smaller market but still) ... anyway from a user point of view if you dont know how to triple backup your files and put your antivirus on auto update every 30mins and runs your firewall only opening the ports you need THEN you should consider apple systems. i myself would love to buy a mac replacing my pc if i could have all my softwares on mac :sigh:

i was just looking for the same thing on which imaging and backup software i should use for my OS's.i realy like to see the result of your project iceman. there is a product coming with WD external drives called LigeAgent from memeo which i guess worth looking at too.

i renamed the file to both p5k and pk5 and used both usb and cd but still nothing, as i said the computer stays on for 2 seconds so no time to load anything i guess. i already tried removing all the slots like hdd,dvd-rom,wireless and others to see if any cause this but not a diffrence.only thing remains is the power supply and im gona bring another one to test today. though any other suggestions?

i dont have FDD drive on my pc , removed it long time ago. is there any alternative to that? maybe usb flash drive?

ok, extracted the ROM file into the formatted fat-16 flash drive and plugged it, then started the computer and still the same. im afraid worse than that cause nothing appears on the screen not even the first screen which displays the graphic cards info,system restart in like every 2 seconds.no time to load anything.
