Actulay i only have 2 pc at home with a vistax86 and 2003server.but im building an small family network in one of my friends and i wanna use this tool instead of netlimiter to see if it works.ill update with more info here.

ok its making me crazy,i just got the tdu and installed it on my : Windows vista x86 7600gt 2gb ram AMD 64 3.2 250gb sataII and the game runs runs so slow (low fps) even with 640x480 and low details.actualy it doesnt make any diffrence if i make it 1024x768 high details or lowest details,the game is so slow.anyone knows any fix for this?

LOL So noone knows how to enable clocking option in nvidia drivers in vista?

Well my cpu temp max temp is 45,ive never seen it higher. the problem with my gpu is that the fatal1ty cards have a silent cooling system that cant be changed.i cant use my zalman cu fan on this gpu :angrym:

i bought an xfx 7600gt fatal1ty 2 days ago and ran some tests and games at some promising details/resolutions. im running vista x86 and driver 158.18. the problem is the windows without runing any 3d application the temp is 62-63C but after running a game or 3dmark the temp goes to 83-85C sometimes.is it normal? whats the limit? and anyone knows a registry edit like Coolbit for vista to enable clocking and be able to see clock's info?

Few times during my MCSE classes in the lab but the speed in vpn is not very nice and its an End-to-End connection and the encryption only applies to the connection between two points but after passing the vpn server the packet still wanna reach to the bank's website hosting server and no one can garuntee the safty of the packet between the vpn server and the hosting server.or can they?

I would love to test such a program but i run vista and its beta only.as in the threat mentioned by you it never reached the final state(least not yet).

VPN wont be the answer to your problem as you need to trust the network you are connecting to 100%. as for your normal security such as staying clean from viruses and kiddy attacks a firewall and av combination will do the job. As for your logins like bank loginf you have to make sure youre connectin to HTTPS before you enter your username and password and pay attention carefully to any alert's you get when you are connecting to HTTPS to make sure the certification of the target website is GENUINE and up-to-date.Also i recommend you install an anti-malware like Spybot to search for keyloggers and monitor your firewall for applications suspesious connections. I had the same question when i started my website few month ago.from what i read in articles around the web for other engines like yahoo you can use some tactics or softwares and more importantly METATAGS but as for google theres no specific tactic or tips.dont know how exactly it works but from what i read nothing actualy works excpet if some websites links to yours. Though right now my website appears in the first page(10 results per page) 90% of the times and only thing that i did was using meta tags that i know google doesnt pay attention much but i agree with TAIN cause from the first day i made a poll in my website if the info's were valuable and the result is 100% YES so i guess somehow google watch the ENTER/LEAVE 's of the website.and of course your website gotta be clean from adwares/viruses and useless stuff's. Also if youre using JOOMLA on your website get the LinkXchange module as it will help you also in google ranking alot. Cheers

Ok i got it and its working on vista now. Bug: the monitoring is working fine but i cant edit upload/downloading cap's.they are not editable(at least in vista).also BLOCK and SPOOF options can not be checked. Request: It would be fun if you put a NetSend tool in this software.not all the users know how to use netsend command.

There are so many softwares with AD blocking ability. Opera- this pro browser(my fav) have a nice popup blocker,Content blocker and you can use new Fraud protection Oupost- if you have outpost pro as a firewall it also have a good ad and popup blocker KIS- Kaspersky internet security also has a built-in ad/popup blocker And tones of other ad/popup blockers out there. Also try to block activeX and Java scripts in your browser or by a sofwtare and use SpyBot IE protector if you use IE and Immunize you system while you checked you opera profile if you have one(or firefox)

OMG please,there are like tones of discussions about av's and firewalls why make new one? please search before posting. anyway for your xp i recommend you use KAV with Comodo or Outpost.as for your vista im using KIS and i just love the flexibility. Oh and im looking forward to see comodo 3 beta cause it will be VISTA compatible

Get the NGO modified nforce driver or just get the registry edit for the nforce driver to enable core/memory clock modifying.i believe you can reduce the number too its not just for increasing it. and also if you are using vista and having PCX 6600 theres an option for powering down the graphic card when youre away or so.

Well i dont trust Symantec Security check or infact any otheir products but my suggestion for anyone who wanna see if any ports on their computer is really open to the outside is THIS WEBSITE. Its an online nmap scan with any option you want.

You would probably face some issues and insufficient performance.your only choices to run vista would be using vLite or at least diabling all the graphical options in the windows.

im using KAV for few years now and never got false alarm or even get infected,here is their free online virus scanner.scan the file online and see if it find anything.

Source Source It seems like its really free but too bad its only avaliable in US and Canada ( the version 3 of this software has been tested by Matousec and didnt have a good result but i dont know whats the newest version. I really apreciate it if someone from us or canada see if its really free and send some screenshots and reports from this software.

i just installed mysql 5 in my vista and seems like that the service cant start.i tried google but the only thing i found was a fix(looked like it) that was a modification to a XML file. anyone knows any solution for this problem?

Cant agree more BUT if you wanna use the NTFS ecryption system DONT FORGET to backup your user certification.you find the steps to do this in windows help.type NTFS ENCRYPTION in windows help. If you dont get this backup and somehow your windows get destroyed (like by a virus) then you will lose all the encrypted data's and they'll be useless.
