@Sgt_Strider, the "/K" switch makes it silent. drivers are installed if you simply point them on winnt.sif. i wanted to mean that you can try to install them with the silent switch and if it doesn't work then follow the instructions tu create a setup.iss file.

deja vu? resizing with paint any bitmap to 320x400, converting it to 256 colors and saving it as logo.sys (on c:\), logos.sys or logow.sys (on c:\windows) will give the propper result.

@Sgt_Strider if you used the "/K" switch try the .iss method and viceversa. also you can try to test the CP setup before burning the cd to be sure that it works.

well i would format and reinstall everything before going out to buy something. at the moment the most important for gamers is to have the latest graphic gard. i would go for one of those ATI XTs. next with that hardware config the best is to increase the ram (a total of 1gb should be enough if is ddr400). you didn't talk about your HD, if you want to move over sata you'll also need to buy a new mobo that i don't recomment. cpu is enough so have fun and tell us how you ran HL2

this is what i did: c:\ - win98se - fat32 d:\ - winxp - ntfs all the programs must be installed twice on C:\program files. with this config you don't waste space installing the same programs on different locations. win98 is installed first and xp will set properly the boot config so you'll be able to boot from it. to don't mess things d: partition will be invisible for 98se. the default boot manager of xp always worked flawlessly for me ps: btw, welcome to the forum

what @prathapml tried to say is that you can't associate the file extension with a value that doesn't exist. that means that program need to be already installed and the value that you associate with the extension HAVE to exist.

ok i think i can understand you. on the first example REG ADD %KEY%\001 /VE /D "BitCommet" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Apps\Bit_Comet\bitcomet.exe /S" /f RD /S /Q "%Systemdrive%\Program Files\BitComet\fav" XCOPY /S "%CDROM%\Apps\Bit_Comet\fav" "%Systemdrive%\Program Files\BitComet\fav\" note that your favs will be copied (at t-13) BEFORE the program installs from runonce if you don't add REG ADD blah blah entries. so the correct would be use "a bunch of cmd files" like in the second example. next say that you haven't defined the variable %CDROM% on the runonce batch (you did it only on the favs cmd).

that is because is compressed in someway. yes you can do it!, i've done something similar for the logonui of XPize3. you just need to use 1 (that can be extracted) as an example. the trick is use 32bit alpha bmps so you can use transparencies

i know about floorplan but that 1 will only let you design your home. maybe autocad or 3dmax, i doubt there isn't a especific program to make them.
