basically, you can use %systemroot% from the very first step on the setup. however %windir% is only available after T-13 (or that's what i think at least )

xp uses his own palette for ntoskrnl, that's probably why they look weird once you use them (reduce the colors to 16 won't help if you're not using that exact palette).

@JuMz, http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/, that's bartpe's homepage. look at plugins sections, i'm sure it won't take you much time to familiarize with them @totoymola, technically you won't need nu2menu never more, i use it as a shortcut for my most used applications. erd commander (hopefully) works flawlessly on my current setup

actually black is not a color is the ausence of color, like white is the mix of every color (didn't meant to be that picky Zxian ) as for me i like many #00b400, #b4fa00, #c800c8... my favorite plain color is r255 g0 b0 and over it my favorite value is the ausence of color aka black lol

got the same problem sometime ago and it was there for months. i finally ended to locate the issue on the graphic card / drivers or something related but i couldn't solve it. the thing finished on a "format c:" with propper results edit: fogot to say welcome and ask for more details about your problem, when does it happens? soft running?

i don't know about any; you can try to do it on PS but i'm sure particullary that flag was done on a 3d animation program such as 3dmax or easier.
