Overview From now on we're going to have a little contest (just for fun ) and we're going to start by creating a nice, eyecandy icon. If you want to participate but don't have the necessary skills, don't give up, there are plenty of tutorials waiting for you on the net. You can use google to find them or visit the tutorial's sticky at this same section. Submission Use any image format (preferably either .jpg, .gif .png or .ico) for submissions, created with any photo manipulation or designing program such as Photoshop, GIMP, PSP or Freehand. A reasonable size should be 128*128 or similar. Image must be an original piece of artwork, believe me, we'll take care of those copying others. At the time of uploading your work, try to find an external mirror (http://www.eazyshare.com) or free image hosting (http://www.imageshack.us). We aren't professionals so we aren't going to flame you either if it's too good or too bad, just do your best and make a little try. If you used any kind of reference or tutorial it would be great if you can link it in the same post. There's no limit for submissions, and after a period of time (one month or more if necessary) will try to find the best of them by voting first on this thread the finalists and then a poll with the 3/4 more popular Awards There's no monetary award or any kind of recompense appart of the honor of being the BEST of the month

please, don't convert this on another opera vs. ff or viceversa. we've too many threads about this on the last months if you're feeling ok with ff or opera just post the pros of them and don't attack each other on an eternal war... you guys know that the true enemy is IE
-
for me is working ok, smaller load times and it looks better than on ANY console. the thing is that after an hour (more/less) it hangs for some seconds and after that, the action continues without problems (all the people with similar problems are running the game over ati hardware )

As a side note... From now on we're going to use some kind of nomenclature, meaning if you want to create a new thread for desktops do it with the word [Desktops] or if you're looking for something use the word [Request]. You can also create a new thread for non-Windows desktops, i.e. [Desktops] September 2005 (Linux). These are not rules in any way, just a way to organize the section better I would also like from you to vote your prefered desktop of the month so we can have a kind of contest of the best 5 desks. I'll collect the votes and we're going to have a poll for a week If you got more ideas feel free to PM or contact me in some way. Finally, I know most of you know and understand the rules, but let me remember that if you're going to post a big image use a thumbnail or link the file. Now if you're going to ask what is big or not... any image braking the forum display or taking too much to load is big You can attach images to your post, of course, but use common sense at the time of doing it. Bandwidth is not unlimited so if possible, use free image hosting (a sticky about this is already on this section).

Not yet September on some places but here goes mine: If you've any question just do it
-
i remember to read something from Alanoll that said both versions were mostly similar (at least files are the same) but pro version asks for serial during setup and full not (correct me if necessary).in fact, if you've a serial you won't find any difference at the time of using them

to me looks like a big piece of cr*p. even plagiarizing getfirefox homepage it just includes a bunch of "tools" like an adaware/spyware searcher that detected my .hta files association like a "virus hidden on my system", it also tried to remove some of my custom startup entries. ie main window looks weird using a custom small icon size (32x32) plus the interface is just the plain ie with some buttons and multitab get maxthon or get firefox but you better get far from foxie

@boooggy, half a year? lol maybe a bit old but i didn't read about it before @Nanaki, yep, sounds similar but i believe in its possibilities since it is compatible with current mp3 players plus some other goodies

Registering File Extensions Unattended
SiMoNsAyS replied to SiMoNsAyS's topic in Application Installs
well just depends on your taste, i personally preffer the batch method. i avoid that window sizing just adding a couple of regtweaks @NeoDeath, i can't help you with that cuz i never used foobar. btw, take a look at the examples, won't be difficult to create your own regs
