for what i've read D3 will be in stores on late august and HL2 has been shortly delayed another time for late summer (end of september or so). will d3 ship more because of it "early" date?? will d3 be bait by hl2?? still all of this it's unofficial but as a final personal impression i've wondering how polls like this can be done: Did you (or will you) buy a new graphics card for Half-Life 2? are we crazy?? how can we spend 50€/$ on a game and 400€/$ to play it??!!

i think the same as DarkPhoenix but as a temp solution try to channge in advanced options from GDI+Engine to Custom Engine, if this not solve the problem contact objectdesktop

i won't buy an athlon64 for now and i explain my reasons: 1.- they are expensive compared to other processors with similar benchmarks 2.- faster?? don't think so. probably a 64bit emulating 32bit operations could be equal or slowest. 3.- "in the future 64bit systems will be dominant and we need them". don't think so again, thinking how marked goes i can say that xp 64bit have been out for 2 years and there are not many 64bit programs. and companies of software will first integrate pci-e, ddrII, etc. until 64bits. 4.- probably if we wait a little, the new processor from amd using socket A will be faster than athlon64 with 32bits apps

use GUI Replacer. then replace your installation system files with those (this could be a lot of work).

it appears to be a wrong downloaded file. try redownloading again and then test the installation in your current windows OS.

lol, i love this posts! in my free time i use photoshop to design banners for my webpage i think a professional page needs a thing a little different and so this is my design in .gif format because i prefer a transparent background (i also add the .jpg format and i store the .pdf format if you want it): i only want some credit if you decide to upload it (or a cheaper price if i decide to buy there xDDDDD )

i think mx900 has it's own usb bluetooth adapter... hasn't it?? i think bluetooth it's the future and if i buy a printer or any other periphernal i will choose a bluetooth one

You can sometimes run into the same problem where you have "All User.COMPNAME" as the All users folder. When you use the $DOCS folder, it will copy into an All Users folder, which may not be used. I do something similar to what Nick2588 said. Except I extract to the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%, rather than a predetermined user. This condition is rare, an usually only happens when you don't erase the documents and settings folder before installing xp, from a clean install. SiMoNsAyS is right on about why you should go to the all users profile. lol i didn't know it because first i tried myusername\desktop in the $OEM$ folder and it was renamed to myusername.mycomputername then i tried allusers\desktop folder and it worked perfect

it's easy. i've never got a bluetooth device until i got a ericsson T610 and bought an USB bluetooth. once installed it works like an interface between the bluetooth device and the comp. i can't link you to a guide because i've never used one. simply work around with it and in no much time you'll be a professional.

a second solution: when u create a folder in $OEM$ with the name of your user it will be copied until the process of register accounts. that means that when xp installation tries to create a folder with your username it will find the folder "Tigerwolf" so it creates another different to don't corrupt an "hipotetic account". solution can be make a rar sfx to be extracted into %USERPROFILE%\Desktop after the user accounts are registered or using $OEM$ folder you can create $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Desktop which won't be renamed because it will be always the same not like the username.

that exactly my problem, when i added that inocent regtweak my start menu switches to classic . anyone have had the same experience or know how to solve it?? PS: thanks MCT that have help me to find what was going on with my start menu

first create a folder: $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Menú Inicio\Programas\Inicio (that is translated $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup in english). from here create a shortcut to "%PROGRAMFILES%\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe"

it works on both ways. probably the difference it's that one would not work on xp installation because windows it's not fully loaded and some system variables are not defined (i think).

@yazanaswad they are the same for all languages (i use spanish location of xp ). also i did this to help me recognize which are the keys. hope it help you
