the problem with ati catalyst it's the driver installation without using a setup file. for example, i've got 2 PCs first one with an ati card, the other one with an intel based card and i can't use an automatic installation for my unattended cd

net framework it's NOT installed together with SP2, it comes as an addon in some XP versions (don't know if it's corporate, some OEMs or so). you can select to install it from the xp autorun dialog. what it's sure, is that framework isn't installed when slipstriming sp2 into sp1/sp1a/vanilla version.

i'll follow this thread and test the method with catalyst 4.9 alpha to see if it works.

also you can rar your drivers and programs search the forum, for example my office2k3 went from 220mb to 80mb

ahh cool, ill give that a shot. Any thoughts on my lighting issue (hardware prob??) don't know if it's a hardware problem but you can try to search for DoomConfig.cfg and then look for a setting change it to 1.2 or 1.4 for me it's enought.

@WildKat to bring down the console: ctrl + alt + ~ i used the give doom95 cheat but nothings happen during the game. anyone know how to use it?

@Nephilim i've got latest version of nLite (0.98.6 Beta) and it doesn't include the entry to remove bluetooth drivers (note infrared it's not the same as bluetooth). and i think it's normal because until sp2, windows didn't have a native support for bluetooth devices

my cdrw it's a survival one i've burned it for 100 times or so and hypothetically it can be burned for 10000 times! the problem it's that my LG CD Reader scratched it many times and now installations are slooow and sometimes i've got to restart them. f***** LG CDR
