same can be said for writing music, even designing parts for a machine... theres only so many types of widget possible, even if theres trillions of trillions of permutations. get a future super computer to write music based on the rules of music writting, add some randomisers in there, and leave it to it, eventually it wil finish. a modern super computer could do this.. it would just take it hundereds of years to reach a terminal point.

i expect back when we where using valves, people asked how you could program a weather simulator also. and imagination is basically trial and error. something like problem + past experiances + random = idea > functional? yes/no let me counter that also with.... how did you learn to imagine? its not something you where born with. so you were... programmed, like you where programmed to eat with a knife and fork and why a pink dress with frilly ribbons on really doesent go with your beer gut and tattoos. no?

The naysayers are.. to a point right. But wait till Quantum computers start being built, and become more powerfull, and then i think you will be outsmarted The way Quantum computers will work is much more "brain" like, and with the power there as well... i think we might just render ourselves obsolete.

if you rename it .rar1 then winrar will still open it anyway without having to rename the file.

it blocks it if you zip it? thats a suprise, shouldnt do that really. have you tried compressing it into .rar or .ace formats? use winrar and make it into a .001 file instead, winrar will still extract the file but i bet the mail server cant read it

500 GB - RAID 0 120 MASTER 60GB SLAVE/BACKUP Thats this PC, in the other theres a 160gb, and 60gb. And the old machine i rarely use has two 80gb disks in it too. so... 1060GB tho theres only really the two machines ever used, the drives on the old machine dont really have anything on them - its just a spare box. I do a lot of image, web, movie work. a DVD takes up almost 5GB - more if its dual layer. Im also a total game freak as anyone round here that knows me will tell u a few games installed on the pc soon swallows up about 20gb these days - never mind save files and screenshots etc increasing the size more -- ever played an MMOG? starts off around 5GB on your disk and gradually grows the more you play online. i also use my machine as a media PC - it has every CD and DVD i own on it, no more playing DJ for me, Imon is a lazy mans best friend, hence the raid array - its a media bin, but also gets other stuff thrown on it - very handy to have.

your problem lies here, "I had no idea how to" thats all. at one time, you didnt know how to in winblows either. if linux ran games like windows does, and i dont mean the few obscure, old, and pap titles that are around for it like tribes, sims etc, then i would drop windows in a heart beat. if i could just go to the store and buy battlefield 2 for linux for example, and take it home and run it, without messing about with WINE for 2 weeks to get it semi working, then bye bye windows. im not alone int hinking this way, i know its one of the main reasons so many people stick with windows. that and certain software packages become favourites.. like id miss photoshop... GiMP is cool and all but.. i prefer PS. id miss flashFXP, id miss Teamspeak, and Xfire, and my games. i oddly, wouldnt miss windows tho. windows isnt bad dont get me wrong. But linux is more attractive to me because of its openness, more functionality, more powerfull tools, more control, customisation and freedom. windows bleats too much to the home user who doesent know where the on button lives. i dont need, and dont like Billy boy holding my hand with everything i do or want to do. its like Clippy.... you just want to kill him right?

Xperties, me and my guys hang out on our US server, we dont have our EU server yet. its running on its own box, no virtual host crap, hypernia sponsor our hosting for us 204.11.239.76 for game server teamspeak 204.11.239.76:8767 Xfire - add fthrjack (if you try add me, and i dont know who you are, then ill reject it) it can be laggy for me at time because of where it is, but when its not i can fly the choppers so well it will scare you. but.. when it starts lagging i end up failing maneuvers because of missed frame rates and stuff and end up clipping houses or hitting the water as i fly low + fast. They are very different fromt he copters in BFV or DC, but once you get the hang of them they rock. i dont like the main weapons tho i thinkt he missiles need a bit more ummf to them as you can hit soldiers with them and not get a kill.. pretty lame sometimes. you should ideally always have a gunner too... if they know how to and they right click and use the TV guided missile you become a pretty deadly team. couple of my buddies do it sometimes with me flying and they are **** good with it... i cant fly that guided missile for crap tho. the jets... i hate them, its impossible to fly them with a joystick, just wont work - nobody i know can get it to work properly so you have to fly them by keyboard and i hate it so havent bothered. commander mode i love doing, when you have a few squads on the server and they work with you, it rocks. we unlocked some new weapons on our server, and i also removed the 12 minute timer too the timer runs.. hits 0, but the game carries on going. servers often full tho as a result. we did at one point unlock it to allow 64 players on but its too many people for a small map, the server handled it fine tho.

of course.. Battlefield is a multiplayer game, its not something you would play offline against bots. the big button that says MULTIPLAYER on it is a big clue Xperties hence the clan server? you left your brain in bed today? lol

ok, play on servers where your ping is not 150+ and avoid servers with people with 200+ pings in them or you will lag like crazy. Also, for EVERYONE playing this, i suggest you go to graphics options and turn on at LEAST 2X AA or the game looks whack. Also, dont play it on a silly high res dude, your system might be struggling with it and hence the lag, try lower. higher you go it only gets harder to aim at people anyway as they look smaller. i have the same GPU as yourself, running the game with all textures on high, lighting and shadows on medium, 1024X768 and 2XAA and it runs well. my clan set our server up and i moded the server file so our server has no stupid 12 minute timer on it too the timer shows... but once it hits 0:00 the game carries on. much beter being able to play a proper round!

its the Intel ICH5 drivers, as other people said. not only that but, the date... AND, its for something thats obviously on the PCI bus, something already installed in the machine, so... id say odds on he hasnt tried to install it, and that it is an attempt by them later, or an auto install by the OS for a "new" device or for an update. The other thing is, that the document isnt evidence at all. If that person loses his job over this, i would recommend he sues. In taking away the machine and messing with it in the way they have, they have altered data and logs on the machine. And in doing so, made any "evidence" that might be on it, not worth the hard disk space its written on, a court would throw that "evidence" out because it is 'contaminated'

Fire can, and does do that to steel buildings. steel gets soft when it gets hot. when its got tons and tons of concrete and furniture, and whatever else is in the building on top of it... it buckles. and when it buckles.... in falls the building.

its real, that show used to be on when i was a kid. Theres some inuendo there you wont get either, like the marackas references, "would you like to play with my marackas?" Knackers in the UK means balls theres also another Kids TV show called The Magic Roundabout, a friend of mine had a VHS tape from the bbc of it, we once watched it and it was just as full of inuendo and drug references through the entire tape, even had a dog running around with his "musical instrument" which looked like a pair of plastic tits!

why not? pictures of A51 have been in general circulation for YEARS. thats why i recognised what structure was A51 and not some of the other buildings nearby. Now close up pictures.. thats something else. try zoom right in and see what you get

Two things it is likley to be: bad driver spyware visit www.microsoft.com and download the anti spyware beta, install that and run it and remove anything it finds. Visit windows update and update your system... try again then and post back. It sounds like a program or driver is running, and Windows system cannot shut it down in the kill process, and it causes the system to crash. spyware is usualy the cause, but the irq_not_less_or_equal thing is an annoying as hell problem i have suffered from before, searching the net doesent produce much results (or didnt when i suffered with it) My problem was a bad driver, which was easy fixed.

for those that cant find it, A51 is to the west of Little A Le Inn, its the white blob in the center of the map, zoom in on that. as for green craters? i see green dots, but those are all over the maps, they look like distance markers or censor marks. A51, if you look at it you can see the rail tracks leading up the mountain side and to sub stations, it looks like a heavy water plant, like the Telemark. Ever wonder where the US gets its heavy water from? Just a guess, didnt see any little green men tho
