Every iPod is like that. It depends if you've played the song before or not... Even my 3rd gen 20GB one does that! I'd like to have an iPod video, but I'd also like a Blackberry PDA, and they both cost about the same amount of money, so I don't know right now...

All I can say is... YOU'RE NUTS!!! Don't do that! You take a huge risk of corrupting your data and/or damaging any of your components (short circuiting/mobo problems) whenever you do that!

I've got internet access that ranges from 4Mbps to 5Mbps and I pay ~$60 CAD./month!

He needs a female to female cable. The cable coming from the case is male, and the cable coming from the PSU is male, therefore he needs to connect the cable coming from the case to the PSU. The only way to do this is to find a female to female cable.

A friend of mine tried Registry Fix and it seemed to fix whatever problem he was having. I'd try it if you had no other option. However, it might not fix whatever problem you're having.

Hey guys, I totally forgot about this thread until today... That laptop is now sitting in a closet collecting dust... I have two computers, one which is 350MHz w/ 28MB of RAM () and another which is 500MHz w/ 56MB of RAM ()... Any ideas? I'd like to run either an IRC server or mail server but don't know how to configure either one...

Right-click on "My Computer", go to the "Advanced" tab, then click on the "Settings" button under the "Performance" part of the screen, then make sure that "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" is checked.

But Azureus takes up many system resources (because of Java), leaving the system incapable (or almost) of processing anything else. Once uTorrent comes out, hopefully it will solve all these problems...

I disagree with both ideas. 1. The IRC chatroom has been implemented before and not many people idled in the channel. Also, another chat feature was introduced a while back, yet no one used it. I bet everyone that first started idling there would leave within a month. 2. The torrent tracker... Just... No! How about if people stop seeding the MSFN downloads? There would be no way to download them (unless there was an alternative, which I doubt would happen). Just my two cents.
