Why such a heavy duty video card? I KNOW you're not gonna be doing THAT much extreme gaming on that... I'd lower the video card and up the RAM!

Quick question, let's say my server's running Hamachi and has the MagicOption set on port UDP/12975, I should be able to connect to the network from over the Internet, correct? Now, will I be able to connect to any of the other computers that are connected to the server but which are also on the same LAN as the server without forwarding any other ports? Just want to get this cleared up.

Been reading about Hamachi, but I'm so confused as to what it does. From what I have read, all I can see it doing is connecting you to computers you want to share files with, right? Kind of like a VPN, except its not connecting to the network, but the computer instead.

I get full download speeds using µTorrent. Up to 550KB/sec, sometimes! No problems yet!

No offense taken! We all make mistakes. As to NAV, I have no other idea what it may be. If it installed before, it should install now. I don't see what the problem may be. Anyone?

Ah, OK. At least we're clear now. Have you tried booting into safe mode and tried to install NAV?

Use Firefox! Just kidding... How long ago did you install Macromedia's Shockwave Player? Have you tried going to Macromedia's site and reinstall it? Maybe the plug-in somehow got removed.

A quick search on Google shows that res://shdoclc.dll/hardAdmin.htm refers to a worm. If you open Internet explorer, you should be automatically brought to some kind of a search page, with or without pop-ups. If this is not the case, this is probably a leftover from something else, but I highly doubt it.

If I were you, I'd visit this page right now and let it scan your computer. You've definitely got a worm on your computer according to your HijackThis log. This will scan your computer and remove anything that's unwanted. Also, do you have a firewall on? http://www.trendmicro.com/hc_intro/default.asp

Is this from before formatting, because it looks like you've got W32/Deloder.worm?

Don't worry about it... Ummm... Let's see... You say the installation rolls back? What other processes are running when you're installing NAV? I suggest getting HijackThis! and posting what processes you're computer has running on startup. Save the log and post it here. [ Moved. ]

Not sure what the problem might be, but my guess is that the install just failed because of a corrupt file. But that wouldn't make much sense because as you said, it worked before you formatted. Did you do a quick format or a full format when reinstalling Windows? Also, did you install anything before installing NAV?

Apache's "HTML" folder is usually a folder called htdocs on Windows. It SHOULD have installed itself by default in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache or C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2 (if you installed Apache 2).

Have you tried taking the drive out and sticking it in another computer to backup the stuff?

So can't you have two drives with RAID 0 and not have the mirror?

Doesn't RAID 5 combine the disk space of all drives? (Not sure...)
