  1. The device manager never shows it. It never pops up anywhere on this machine. Yes, it works on other machines.
  2. Just rename the file extension .1zip or .1rar then tell the recipient to rename the file extension when they receive it...
  3. I own an iPod shuffle and a 3G 20GB iPod. Lately, every time I plug my iPod shuffle into any USB port on my Windows machine, nothing happens. All the shuffle does is blink its green light over and over again and that's it... You can see the occasional orange light, but that's it. The 20GB iPod, on the other hand, works just fine, as it is plugged into my Firewire port. I also own an Apple iBook G4, so therefore plugged my shuffle into it and it seems to work just fine!! What can Windows be doing wrong? Every single USB port I use doesn't seem to work... I've uninstalled all the USB ports/drivers/etc and reinstalled them... Anyone? This is really kind of annoying as I have all my music on my Windows machine, and it seems stupid to transfer it all to my iBook when I want to update my shuffle...
  4. dman summarized it pretty well... pulkit, have you even read the rules?
  5. 108Mbps routers/cards are meant for streaming video/audio across a network. They are not meant for transferring files across a network. Also, your router or wireless card may be interferring with something else and/or something may be interferring with it. I hope you have a better understanding of this 108Mbps standard.
  6. That sig is GINORMOUS!!! Removing it...
  7. Hey, don't download Longhorn/Vista... Its illegal! Use BitTorrent at your own risk! If you get caught, its not our fault. [ Topic closed. ]
  8. Get the manual, and look for how to reset it to the default factory settings... If that doesn't work, go out to your nearest tech store and buy a new one...
  9. Are you using an OEM CD, from Dell, hp, or Compaq to make your unattended CD?
  10. Hehe... Nice finds!
  11. Seems I had to sync the passwords on the two machines for it to work properly... Weird... Anywayz, its working fine now...
  12. LOL!! Same!
  13. I will try this! However, I'm pretty sure it will work... Hehe... Oh well, guest account sucks!
  14. OK, listen, the guest account is working properly!! Its just my computer that's being stubborn... I did not have this problem before reformatting!
  15. Server's event viewer has no errors... Yes, guest user is enabled. I've never had this problem before. I should mention that I've reformatted with an nLited CD.
  16. Still not working... See screenshots...
  17. And where would this be?
  18. Did that and it doesn't work... chilifrei64, I will check later on as I am not at my computer at the moment...
  19. Is that a G or a C...?
  20. Its OK, as long as its freeware!
  21. Yes, its possible... I actually have a CD like this that I made a while back... http://gosh.msfnhosting.com is the place for doing this!
  22. OK, After reformatting a few days ago, I've been having this one problem that's really annoying me. Everytime I open up one of my mapped network drives, it says that there is an incorrect username or password asks me for another username/password, but I always enter the one it said was incorrect and it accepts it... How can I fix this problem?
